Millennials are emotional, functional snackers, survey finds via @SmartBrief http://ow.ly/PTjGV
Nearly all Americans, 94%, eat a snack at least once a day, and half consume two or more snacks daily, according to Mintel's Snacking Motivations & Attitudes U.S. 2015, which also found that 33% of Americans are eating healthier snacks this year, compared with 2014. The findings indicate that millennials are more likely to snack for emotional or functional reasons, while older consumers tend to satisfy a craving.
