Saw a story referencing how speed kills when you drive. Might I start making a daily list of the stupidity I see on the road that might get someone killed?
Failure to yield, tailgating, "merging" at 40-45 mph, not using your blinker/turn signal, not checking your blind spot (TURN YOUR HEAD AND LOOK), not checking to make sure that person right next to you doesn't have the same idea to change lanes, etc. The list is unending, and I don't have enough liquor in the fridge to finish said list.
Speed does not kill. Well, not most of the time, though obviously it does happen. Bad driving kills. You're driving a 2+ ton piece of metal and glass, and your driving does affect everyone else around you with a direct domino effect ad infinitum.
May or may not have used affect in the correct manner, but whatever! You get the point.
I will leave you with a picture of the easiest/fastest way to get everyone on the right track to being a better, safer driver.#soapbox
