With the release of LR CC and the new features it includes, I have made my decision regarding C1 vs LR and will go with LR. I get all the quality I need from the new LR CC, and I get so many more features that C1 does not offer including LR Mobile and Photoshop CC for the same $10/mo.

The attached image is an LR CC pano merge of 5 horizontal images. It also uses the new adjustable gradient mask of LR CC to contour the gradient use on the sky to go around the roofline of the building and over the tops of the trees. In the full size version there is absolutely zero evidence that this super wide pano started out as 5 horizontal images. The new LR CC pano merge is stellar.

Now that Lightroom 6 is officially released, here is an Adobe help page that will assist you in determining whether you will benefit from the added help of GPU processing on your specific system.
Submit No comment. By clicking Submit, you accept the Adobe Terms of Use. Lightroom CC/Lightroom 6 now has the ability to use the processor on your compatible graphics card to speed up adjusting your images in the Develop module. This processor is called the GPU (graphics processor unit).

Certainly makes a difference - a much needed difference - on my Mac Pro. Leveraging the GPU is long overdue.

Excellent florist. I have been using them for more than 10 years. Birthdays, Valentines Day, Anniversaries. Whether I need roses or arrangements, they always come through with fresh flora. Customer service is top notch as well. I once had an arrangement that didn't last but a day or two. They replaced it at no cost and the replacement lasted over two weeks.
