Hello Mr. Sweeney, Just wanted to let you know that I am grateful to let you know that my husband and I came in on Dec. 26 and traded in my Mazda5 for a 2011 Equinox. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a car dealer. I believe the person that did all the paperwork was Tony, but our salesman was Jacob L. He was the politest salesman I ever met. He showed us several vehicles and then took us back in and gave us prices. He worked with us to get the closest price we could afford and we were able to seal the deal. I just have never had a salesman that did pressure us and really understood how important to us to get the best value at the right price that we could handle. He even helped convince my husband how safe the car that I wanted was and how much I wanted it. I am so grateful for your team and thankful that you have people like Jacob as an employee. He was absolutely a great salesman as well as a people person. Thanks to Jacob I got the car I wanted. I thank you for employing people like him, so that ordinary people like me can have a great experience. Thanks again and if I ever need another vehicle I will be back and request Jacob again. I had a very good experience at Walt Sweeney when buying my new car! Uncle Bob made sure everything went smoothly. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I've taken my old car to their service department in the past. They've always been thorough and helpful!

Wife and I bought a car from a different Sweeney a couple months back. That experience was as smooth as I've ever had for a car buying experience. Dealing with Walt Sweeney hasn't been the greatest experience. I bought my car at the Harrison Ave. location. One positive I can say is I love my car. Here is a run down from beginning to end: 1) I inquired about the car online. Received a prompt email saying it's available and to come check it out. Also received an email that said print off the blue book of your trade in and we will add $500.Good start. 2) Get on the lot and a salesperson is waiting on me. He was a nice guy but really had all the sales cliches going. He claimed that they had the car priced well below what they paid to get people on the lot. I really don't like being lied to. I know that was a bold faced lie. Also kept trying to slick talk and say he's on my side. I could go on and on. I make it very clear from the beginning that I've done my research and that the car is overpriced. 3) Test drive the car and it's fine. They test drive my car to give me a trade in value. 4) I was offered way less than the lowest blue book value for my car. The email I was sent about the $500 more than blue book value was completely ignored because my car "had issues". Again I don't like being lied to. 5) After being told their sale price was non negotiable(it was a tad overpriced) and my car was worth way less than blue book because they were going to sell it to a wholesaler and not resell it, I dug in. After the cliche you are robbing me blind and my kids won't eat routine, we finally came to a resolution four hours later where they finally budged enough. 6) I received a call about a week later saying the loan company needed more info. I faxed paperwork in and received a confirmation that the fax went through. I left two voice mails asking to call me to let me know it was received. I heard nothing so assumed all was well. Received another call about a week later saying the paperwork was not received and the loan was being rejected...also insinuated I was not sending the paperwork on purpose. Faxed it in the morning and left a voicemail to call me to let me know it was received. Nothing. Finally called again at 7 and talked to an individual who said my paperwork was received and forwarded to the loan company. Unacceptable communication. 7) Back to my trade in. For the fun of it I checked Walt Sweeney's website and my car is on their! After being told it wasn't worth much and they couldn't sell it on their lot, it is on their for full blue book retail! Again, I hate being lied to. Happy with my car but really disappointed in the whole experience.

I am sorry that you feel that your experience was disappointing. This is unacceptable and I have forwarded this onto our GM & owner. We have been in business over 100 years and we in no way want to deceive anyone. We pride ourselves on our returning customers, some we have had for generations.

Just had the best sales experience ever at Walt Sweeney Ford. Our salesman Jacob Lancour was warm and non-pressuring during price negotiations. We will shop there again when the opportunity arises for a dependable used Ford vehicle. A++ Bob Wagner Bridgetown.

I bought a used car from them Saturday. I test drove it and it ran smoothly without issues. When I got it home it had started making a clicking noise and I noticed a scratch on the bumper.I had gotten an email regaurding my car buying experience. I responded positively about my salesman and the company. Also, I expressed my concerns about the car. Within 5 minutes Walt Sweeney Jr. was calling. He put me on the phone with the service center who got my car in and fixed the next day. When I say fixed they removed the scratch and resolved the issue causing the noise. I was thoroughly impressed with this dealership. Amazing customer service.

I generally do not like dealing with car dealerships, but this is one of those rare exceptions when I felt like the process was smooth and transparent. My sales guy (Brian) was very friendly and did not put me in a high pressure hard sell situation. I'd definitely recommend going to these folks before you make a trek up north - its one of those rare dealerships thats closer in and since they are a smaller outfit, they work harder to make their customers feel comfortable. I also went there to get a recall part fixed on a ford that was not sold to me by them - over all it was a good experience, though I did have to do a fair amount of follow up to make sure they were keeping me on their radar. Once I found someone to speak with over several phone calls, he (Chris) did a really good job of making sure my car was taken care of in a timely manner and that I was given a loaner while my car was being serviced.

I just purchase my third car from Walt Sweeney Ford. Mike (Bubba) was the Sales Associate and once I described what I was looking for, he took me to the perfect car. The New Car Manager and John in Finance were also wonderful to deal with. As was the case with my previous two purchases, it was a pleasant, pressure free experience. We have moved twice since I purchased my first vehicle from WSF. I still drive pass a dozen or so dealerships to get to Walt Sweeney Ford.

I went to Walt Sweeney to get my car serviced today and they were great. It was quick. The customer service was outstanding. "Uncle Bob" took care of me and made sure I got everything I needed. I would definitely come back again.
