Walrath Recruiting, Inc.
3 Winners Cir, Albany, NY 12205
When I first came to Walrath Recruiting, I had an interview with one of Renee's people. It went very well, but I didn't hear back from them. I called and asked for updates, and they told me there was nothing available at that time. My wife also went to Walrath for assistance. She too has not heard anything back. I ended up finding something else, through another recruiter who happened to cold call me. Over a year and a half later, Renee emailed me a position where she felt I would be a good fit. This, to me is the benefit of having recruiters on your side. They build a portfolio of candidates, and work that portfolio as necessary. A recruiter is just that... a recruiter. They are not in the business of guaranteeing you a job. They are in the business of providing opportunities to qualified candidates. Some of the posts I'm reading here sound like sour grapes reviews. A job seeker is smart to spread their resumes across a wide variety of sources. Use many recruiters, good business social networking sites, shotgun effect your job applications etc. In the end, it's up to you, the job seeker to make yourself as marketable as possible. Recruiters can present the opportunity. They cannot guarantee you placement. To those who have written the very poor reviews, I suggest you polish yourselves to a brilliant shine before seeking employment. After all, it all starts and ends with us, and our presentation to the prospective employer. First impression is crucial. Renee came through for me. She remembered me and she gave me an opportunity, and its not because we're friends (we're not - I only know her as a business ally.) It's because I had something that was salable to her; enough that she did indeed remember me. That is why I'm giving Walrath the high score. I appreciate all she's done and will certainly refer anyone who also needs employment assistance to Walrath Recruiting.

Walrath Recruiting and Ms. Walrath are absolutely amazing! I received my graduate degree two years ago and have been looking for a professional position since then. Ms. Walrath and her staff are the first ones that have given me a real chance, really "stepped up to the plate and gone to bat for me" and refused to back down. After having been to three other staffing companies with little to no results I came to Ms. Walrath and she found me a professional position with a company in Albany, NY that I absolutely love! It has been truly a pleasure working with Ms. Walrath and her staff. I highly recommend Ms. Walrath and her staff to any looking for a professional position in the Capital District area.

I had an experience similar to some of the other reviewers. I took time out of my work day to have an initial meeting. I was assured that they had positions in mind for me, and that they would be in contact, however after that initial meeting there ceased to be further contact. I sent follow up emails and received no response. I initially chose Walrath Recruiting because they offered jobs centered around my skill set and I wanted to support a female-owned company. In the end, it proved to be an absolute waste of time.

Walrath Recruiting took the time to meet with me, to get to know my personality and therefore placed me at a company with people who I truly get along with. From my 20 years in the business world I firmly believe that working with people that you truly like and who truly like you is priceless. I believe that Renee and the whole Walrath team take this seriously as well and therefor picked a position for me that they felt I would fit perfectly into and they did. I was desperate to find a job, I would have taken ANYTHING because money was running out fast and I not only have an excellent salary I have the best job so far in my career. Not only is my boss a wonderful human being he is also paying for me to go back to college for an Associates Degree in Accounting. What a BLESSING. I HIGHLY recommend Walrath Recruiting. God Bless and all the best for everyone out there who are in the shoes I once was, have faith, hang in there and get your butts to Walrath Recruiting today!

Walrath Recruiting became such a great resource for me. I had to move from San Diego to New York, due to my husband being in the military, and was nervous that I would not find work in my career field very fast. I was recommended to Walrath Recruiting by another military wife and submitted my resume right away. That same day I got a call for an interview for the following day and sure enough they found me a job in my career field as a Business Analyst in less than a week! It has been two months now that I have been working with my new employer and I love it here. Walrath Recruiting knows what they are doing!
