I haven't shared much news on this WW Page in a while. There have been many updates to WW since the last post here in May. Among all the new things are new plugins and many new features available in both Wall Worm and Wall Worm Pro.

You can now always get the latest download of Wall Worm plugins and tools at the WW Store. https://wallworm.com/store/

Some updates for the Wall Worm world: I have teamed up with a fellow developer named Orvid King to put together Wall Worm Pro. We now have it available in an Alpha-stage. Those who buy it early get a complimentary license of CorVex. Learn more at http://dev.wallworm.com/topic/69/wall_worm_pro.html

In it you'll get faster model exporting, faster VMF exports, native VTF support in 3ds Max 2012-2015 and other tools. We are also adding DMX support into WW Pro.

Amongst all the WW Pro work, we've put a couple months into adding features, cleaning up and fixing bugs in the general Wall Worm tools. There are a ton of new updates including many user requests, such as enhanced model imports, VTA importer and more. See the changelog to get an idea of the scope of the latest updates: http://dev.wallworm.com/topic/33/wwmt_changelog.html#update2.5

Also, in an effort to get WW users to expand their capabilities and knowledge of Wall Worm tools, we have announced the first Wall Worm Level Design Contest: Amazing Desert http://www.wallworm.net/index.php/topic,1206 I'm hoping to see some cool things. The deadline for submissions is February 28. I know that this is a lot less time than many contests for Source give--but part of this contest is to help people realize how much faster you can build content for Source when using 3ds Max and Wall Worm.

The server for the Wall Worm domains is having problems. We're looking into it. Service may be sporadic throughout the day.

I've released an update to Carver today. This update makes cleaner carve results that will delete isolated edge vertices automatically so you won't need to clean any of those any more. That function is also exposed with a new utility button that you can apply in general usage.

Along with this update is an update to the Carver documentation (above link) that explains all the settings.

Also, the introductory sale for Carver is now over. You can now buy Carver for $3.95.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQouaIZVcRc It's the new video demonstrating how to make facial animations for Source with WW Pro as well as paint your wrinklemaps. More docs located at http://dev.wallworm.com/document/162/wrinklemaps.html .

For those who already have WW Pro, there was a new download sent out today that fixes wrinklemaps as well as memory issues in WW Pro SMD/DMX exporter. If you didn't get the email, contact me and I'll get the latest version to you.
