Our goal is not just to sell wallpaper
but to get the word out about all the wonderful things you can do with it.
We just don't want to be the average online retailer who markets home decor products. We want to network with as many bloggers and designers as we can, in both the US and Canada, about all the options they have at their disposal in 2014.
The wallcoverings industry has drastically changed from where it was ten years ago. The unattractive brown and avocado green patterns that we all have been in the past have long since disappeared.
It had to make drastic improvements because starting in the 90s, individuals weren't buying wallpaper like they used to. Up until that point, it was the custom for a couple to decide what wallpaper they wanted hung in their new home.
There was no extra fee, it just came with the total cost of the house. Home builders stopped hanging it in their new homes and an entire generation grew up without it.
Everything changed when cable channels like HGTV and TLC became popular in the early 2000s. Respected designers like Candice Olson
were seen by millions using wallpaper to transform homes.
What's more, the patterns that they were seeing on television were nothing like what they had witnessed at their grandparent's house.
Companies like Seabrook, York Wallcovering, Brewster Home Fashions, Warner Wallcovering and Waverly were bringing the industry back from the dead.
We want to do our part to educate and inform people about what they can do with all the products on the market right now. There are endless possibilities of what you can do with designer wall decor and we plan to be a central hub in sharing them with the world.
