Today is the first day the american ISPs can control what you browse, and how to deliver it to you. This means that if you have the right amount of influence over them, whether is legal, or simply economical, you can now allow access from and to USA IPs.
The openness of the world wide web is finally under corporate control. Money will dictate how americans will access information. Corporations using freely these type of tools are likely to not benefit citizens. At all.
Let's hope UK, EU won't follow.

So they found a dinosaur carcass so well fosilized you can actually 'see the dinosaur'. Fossils are very rare, and yet even more rare if they have more than just bones.

I'd like you to take on a little trip to experience the first browser ever created. How the UI worked originally, and how it was originally thought through. We have come a long a way. While perhaps a little pointless, I found it fascinating for some reason.

Can you hear me?
It has been a glorious time to be alive and doing research into theoretical physics.
Our picture of the universe has changed a great deal in the past 50 years and I'm happy if I've made a small contribution. The fact that we humans – who are ourselves mere collections of fundamental particles of nature – have been able to come this close to an understanding of the laws governing us and our universe is a great triumph.
I want to share my excitement and enthusiasm about this quest.
So remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist.
Be curious, and however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do, and succeed at. It matters that you don’t just give up.
Thanks for listening.

Today I learned digital clocks in alarms, microwaves and other appliances use the frequency of the power grid to keep time. If the powergrid frequency lowers, your clock will lag. and It just happened in Europe.

Today I learned you can swear the american constitution not just on bibles; and Lan Diep found the perfect object for his committing to defend the people against America's enemies.
Also, Theodore Roosevelt didn’t use the Bible. Neither did John Quincy Adams and Franklin Pierce; instead they placed their left hand on a law book, with the insinuation that they were swearing an oath to the U.S. Constitution.
