This is a great look into the impact of your "like."
I like everything. Or at least I did, for 48 hours. Literally everything Facebook sent my way, I liked---even if I hated it.

Had no idea!
There are no black players on Argentina's roster. Actually, there are hardly any black people left in Argentina period. In colonial times, the proportion of Africans hovered around 50 per cent in half of Argentina's provinces. General José de San Martín, the revolutionary who lead the charge to gain independence from Spanish rule, estimated that there were 400,000 Afro-Argentines who could be recruited to his armies. Black men made up 65 per cent...

"Part of living in a rape culture is the ongoing expectation that women are responsible for protecting themselves from abuse, and that means avoiding behaviour which might be later ‘exploited’ by the people who are conveniently never held to account for their actions. But women are entitled to consensually engage in their sexuality any way they see fit. If that involves taking nude self portraits for the enjoyment of themselves or consciously selected others, that’s their prerogative."
If you deliberately seek out any of these images, you are directly participating in the violation not just of numerous women’s privacy but also of their bodies.

Can the killing of Michael Brown by police in Ferguson, Missouri, spark a new kind of conversation about choice, parenting and family?

"At nearly every gathering of progressives, the most common feedback is frequently that it wasn't diverse enough, not inclusive enough or that people felt alienated and alone because of their identity. Our first response to this can never be "Well, everyone was invited -- it's their own fault for not showing up." If we take a second to actually be progressive and think about why this may be such a common problem, we can then begin to make it better."
When a science fiction convention is more affirming, less body-shaming, more welcoming and less sneering than a conference with 3,000 plus "progressives," we're doing something wrong. I loved Netroots Nation in Detroit this year, but we nee...

Great customer service. The folks at the front desk were very patient and helpful. Stayed here for mini vaca with boyfriend. Upgraded to a king sized bed room with fireplace. Would come again.

Stayed two nights for a business trip. The front desk service is AMAZING. The people are so friendly and helpful. I do feel like there's a bit of lack of attention to small details that matter. I was given a room where construction men were right outside the window, making me unable to feel comfortable to walk around unclothed. room service forgot to replace my lotion. They replaced a regular keurig cup with decaf.

Great location, the room pleasant and the lobby is well kept. Only downside is that when I asked for utensils to my room they never came. I eventually gave up after waiting an hour and ate with my hands.

Here for business. A dependable Holiday Inn and a relief to visit after going to the Econolodge for two seconds. Great service and right across the street from a plaza with Walmart, TJ Maxx, and other stores. A Five Guys is right at the corner. Definitely would say it's prob the best hotel in Plattsburgh.
