Great video from the folks at +Miss Representation - showing the good alongside the bad in advertising, pop culture, politics and the "news" media in 2013.

#10! So true.
The office environment is an interesting one, a situation that most of us, at some point, can relate to it familiar going-ons.

A note to self on this things I wish I knew that I want to remind myself now:

Never, ever settle. Go for it, whatever 'it' is that you want. Seize the day, and every opportunity that comes with it. Loosen up. Stop trying too hard to impress. Trust your instincts. Cut the ties that hold you back and never think of what ifs. Distance yourself from negative people and surround yourself with people who inspire.

Life's just too short.

Did you know that reports of domestic violence increase by 140% after football matches?

In memory of Joyce Vincent... and all the victims of domestic abuse out there. Let's end this once and for all.  #dreamsofalife  #domesticviolence

All the cats, rejoice!
The internet recently went out in our office in the which rose the question, what would we do if it all ended tomorrow?

"Why are you so restless? Why do you have to do so many things at the same time, go so many places? What are you looking for? When are you going to settle?" He always asks.

"A rolling stone gathers no moss, you know?"

Yes Pa, but it gathers momentum.

My friend and I stumbled on this place by accident on Strove Tuesday, slightly worried that we were under-dressed as we were both in jeans. We needn't have to worry, the service was courteous, the wines amazing (try their Grüner) and the architecture of the beautiful domed skylight over the bar was breathtaking. They have a good choice of set menus and some amazing dishes, we tried their delicious pan fried salmon, which was beautifully presented. We also tucked into their desert of the day, pancake, and it did not disappoint. I really wanted hot chocolate, which was not on the menu, but the bartender accommodated me and served up the most amazing hot chocolate I've ever tasted. Impeccable service!

Great spot for brunch, I spent a lovely afternoon brunch here with 2 of my girlfriends, and a bottle of prosecco between us. The food was ok - I thought my scrambed eggs with salmon was nothing to shout about, but the service was impeccable. They sell some pretty awesome edgy clothes and shoes downstairs and we loved the decor!
