Flashback Friday: Celebrating World Ride Day in Langley, British Columbia. On June 24 & 25 Harley-Davidson asked riders to participate in World Ride Day and register their milage on those days to "Take Over the World". The total collective millage registered so far is 7.5 million. I decided to shoot and edit a quick video on my short ride to commemorate this event.

Throwback Thursday: Motorcycle riding on the Cabot Trail, Cape Breton Island. This video has no music, only the sounds of the bike, wind, the peg scraping, and shows my favourite two minutes of this World famous road. This footage was captured in 2006 while on our ride across Canada, the bike was fully loaded with me, my wife as passenger, and all our gear... We have made many improvements to our camera mount over the years that has virtually eliminated the waves and vibrations that are seen in this video.
We are looking forward to filming this area again one day with all our new camera equipment and technology.

A black bear at the side of Duffey Lake Road (99 South) and a beautiful sunset at Duffey Lake Provincial Park, British Columbia are featured in this video. There have been other sightings of black bears in our travels but for the most part they have been only brief glimpses, which made capturing this footage quite exciting.
"The Duffey Loop" started at 11:00am in Langley, riding up the Fraser Canyon to Cache Creek, then into the Marble Canyon, to Lillooet, Pemberton, Whistler, Squamish and Vancouver, returning to Langley at 10:15pm for a total of 703 kilometers. https://youtu.be/ReqAs2NsEro
