Ahh, the "Bystander Effect"... it's even worse now that we have smartphones all the time. It seems, in terms of reality, we subconsciously have our heads in the sand. We are slower to act and remedy the situation, but we are quick to hit the record button. There's irony in that somewhere...
Yeah, I'm not a bystander myself, I'm far too gobby for my own good. But then, if it wasn't for gobby people like me you wouldn't get that tipping effect that tends to happen, you know, one person attempts to intervene and other ditherers suddenly wake up and get involved. Hooray for gobby folk.
I haven’t drawn a comic (for myself) in about 10 years, so I thought I’d try submitting something to OFF LIFE last month!
I haven’t received word from them if it’s in or not, but the next issue was just announced today. I’m not there aww. But heck, it just so happens to be raining in London today, after yet another splurge of heat, so I thought why not share with you guys? Enjoy! :)
+Gina McGill Ooh tough question... I've had thoughts about playing Motoko Kusanagi in the past, but I think I'm too old for that now. So I'd probably be something covered up, like the yellow power ranger... :P
I don't usually do this kind of thing, but hey - It's almost one entire year since becoming a full-time freelance artist/designer/illustrator! :) MERRY XMAS TO YOU ALL & THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT! (To those on and off FB/Tumblr/Twitter/Google+!) You know who are! ;) xxx
I tend to +1 or retweet anything cool I come across on the interwebs.
I'm a London based artist, now focusing on comics and a bit of fashion. My first comic series is a collaboration writer Tony McDougall, and will be released digitally in 2014. I've just opened an online shop selling my work at voxieshop.co.uk for Summer 2013.
