"Abrahadabra; the reward of Ra Hoor Khut. Fear not at all; fear neither men nor Fates, nor gods, nor anything. Money fear not, nor laughter of the folk folly, nor any other power in heaven or upon the earth or under the earth. Nu is your refuge as Hadit your light; and I am the strength, force, vigour, of your arms. I am the Lord of the Double Wand of Power; the wand of the Force of Coph Nia--but my left hand is empty, for I have crushed an Universe; & nought remains." - Liber AL vel Legis III:1,17,72

Today in 1904, Aiwass delivered the final chapter of the threefold Book of the Law to Aleister Crowley. While Crowley struggled with this chapter most of his life, I've personally found many of its passages inspiring.

QOTD: "Many gay men (as well as some bisexual and gender-variant males and transsexuals) living at the end of the twentieth century have begun to reclaim the ancient association of homoeroticism, gender variance, and sacred experience or role. This task of reclamation is not an easy one. Indeed, due to the homophobic and anti-gender-variant communities in which many of us live, the journey toward self-realization can be an extremely arduous one." - Randy P Conner, Blossom of Bone

The Ordo Aeternus Vovin sponsors Coph Nia and we're very grateful to Men of Spirit for the great write up and summary on their web site.

Men of Spirit did a very nice write up of Coph Nia on their web site.  They even took the time to summarize the bios of both our music guests and gave the site where we host Coph Nia a link.  Check their web site out.  They also have a Facebook page but I couldn't find a G+ page for them yet.

We just wanted to remind those that might be interested that there are now only 2 months left to register for our event, Coph Nia.

Coph Nia is a 5 day outdoor nature spirituality festival for gay, bi, queer and questioning men. Held at a clothing optional, private campground near French Lick, Indiana, Coph Nia is open to long-time practitioners and new seekers of a wide range of spiritual paths including Wicca, Paganism, Heathenry, Druidism, Shamanism, Thelema, Ceremonial Magick and more. Sponsored by the Ordo Aeternus Vovin, an initiatory Thelemic order for gay and bisexual men, Coph Nia features vendors, concerts, rituals, workshops, nightly bonfires, dancing, drumming, chanting, signing and many social events including our annual Masked Ball & Sensual Feast.

During this magickal time, gay, bisexual, queer and questioning men will create a pagan town where we work powerful magick together, worship the Gods, drum and dance around the fire, chant, sing and be who we are at our core. We'll leave behind the bar attitudes and judgements that fragment our community and join together as community of spiritually minded men who love men. We'll explore our spiritual natures and our place in the universe through numerous workshops, rituals, concerts and social events. And at the end of Coph Nia, we'll return to the larger community changed and empowered, ready to minister to the larger gay community. Won't you join us?

For many gay men, the path to self-acceptance is a difficult struggle. Many who have faced rejection of family or friends only wish to be tolerated, accepted and loved. The Ordo Aeternus Vovin goes even further than this - we say that as gay men you deserve to be loved and honored because you are special and the Universe has a unique and necessary role for you. - Fr. Ea, Draco Rex Ordo Aeternus Vovin

Modern magicians are truly blessed. We do not have to figure everything out from scratch as we have all the work done by the many brave priests, priestesses and shamans that went before us. In this way, as we stretch upward towards the heavens in our quest for growth and enlightenment, we can reach much further because we are truly standing on the shoulders of giants.

Who's shoulders do you stand upon? Show some gratitude for those teachers and guides that have helped you.

The men of the Ordo Aeternus Vovin are running an Indie GoGo campaign to raise some funds to build a Temple of Inanna at Coph Nia.  Today we added a new perk--contribute $20 and one of our initiates will email you a tarot card reading using an 11 card spread based on the Tree of Life.

Thelemic Magick Order for Gay & Bi Men
Introduction
We are a religious not-for-profit that teaches spiritual tools and techniques for gay and bisexual men to live fuller, more satisfying lives. We follow many of the teachings of Aleister Crowley such as Thelema and the practice of ceremonial magick. We are an initiatory body.

In addition to the work we perform with our initiates, we sponsor several events that are open to the larger LGBT community that focus on alternative paths of queer spirituality. These paths include neo-paganism, new age thought and ceremonial magick to name a few. In this way, the men of our order serve our greater community by sharing of their Light, Life, Love and Liberty.
