We don't normally share our fan mail but this one we couldn't resist. It moved us, especially right before Mother's Day...
"I just wanted you to know that the Voice Art Gallery was a very special gift for our family. A couple of years ago my brother and I gave my sister her husband this as a gift. It was very special and beautiful. However, at the time, we had no idea how special and meaningful a gift like this could be.”
Our dad was diagnosed with a progressive illness about 5 years ago. He was a very vibrant, charismatic, successful and loving man. Over the years this illness affects the center of the brain that controls language and speech. He knows what he would like to say, but his brain will not allow the words to come out anymore. It is very sad for us as a family.
He gave me a recording of a practice wedding speech he had done for my husband and I about 10 years ago. I took a piece of that and recorded him saying, "lets just enjoy life and spend time with our kids". I arranged for him to give it to my mom for her birthday this year. It has the [QR Signature] on it so she can [scan the artwork] and hear his voice.
She and anyone who sees the picture, cries tears of joy when they see it. She will say that he literally gave her the gift of his voice. I just thought that you should know that besides this being a really unique and beautiful gift for people, it can also really touch the heart."
