15 entrepreneurs share one thing they wish all prospective employees applying to work at startups would know.
It’s Monday. Again. You’re on coffee number four, and the only reason you filled up another cup was because you were so bored at your desk—your cubicle walls were basically closing in, threatening to suffocate you. Maybe the daily grind of the same 9-to-5 office routine—that plays on repeat five days a week—isn’t for you. How does total unpredictability sound instead? Maybe the challenging entrepreneurial world is more your style.

...Saying 'no' to clients who didn't fit my niche and dismissing ideas that were out of the scope of what my company was doing, gave me clarity. That's when I started to see my company getting to the next level."
Navigating through your entrepreneurial journey can be difficult on a number of levels. Here's when some knew they would make it just fine.

Do you remember the children’s song “Make New Friends, but Keep the Old?” Unfortunately many businesses do not, and instead are singularly focused on finding as many new customers as possible. That might seem like the most effective strategy, but recovering customers who have switched to another vendor is actually a lot easier than acquiring someone new. Here are three simple steps you should take to win back business.

Founder and CEO of Company Folders and Printwand.
Introduction

Combining printing and visual design, I founded Company Folders, Inc. to provide businesses with an affordable and comprehensive selection of presentation folders and other print marketing collateral. The best materials begin with not only a unique design, but a unique shape; for that reason, we specialize in a wide assortment of distinctive folder die-cuts.

I have overseen a wide range of high-profile projects, including the creation of press kit packaging for the premiere of the Sony Pictures film Salt. Other clients I have worked with include Nestle, Hallmark, Bed Bath & Beyond, and many more.

I’m always eager to give clients more visual options that extend beyond simply changing their design. I’m constantly on the lookout for new and interesting paper stocks, coatings, die-cuts and printing technologies. You’re more than likely to see me at conventions and trade shows exploring new approaches to help our clients differentiate themselves from their competitors.

For more information about our presentation folder printing services, please visit www.CompanyFolders.com.

The worst shopping experience I have ever had!!! I went to Howell Cycle on Saturday to buy a new bike for myself. I roamed the store and no one asked me if I need help, so I finally asked someone if I could get help. I was told that the sales person was busy, but i could look at bikes and then they will give me a good deal. 10-15 minutes later sales person had a second and tried to help. Showed me few bikes and when I asked if I can test drive them, he said: "sure", but didn't take it outside for me, nor held the door open. On top of that, they had a motorcycle right in front of the door, so it was challenging to get bike in and out, so when I was coming back with the bike, door slammed into it and scratched it (at least that is what the sales guy said). His demeanor was rude, blaming and overall hostile. When I told him that I do not want that bike, he told me to get out and also said: "Thanks for wasting my time a..hole". I would not recommend anyone go there for anything. At first I was going to contact the owner, but based on some testimonials I figured it will be useless, it is the culture of the company.
