From the Ontonix complexity newsletter

"An exciting application of our  technology in engineering is that of Complexity-based Computer-Aided Design (CBCAD). Using commercial Process Integration Design Optimization (PIDO) tools we are able to produce the simplest possible designs that respect manufacturing constraints and performance objectives"

Personally I find complexity analysis fascinating so to see it including in a dynamic design loop at the CAD stage is a very interesting development in the product design field

That is why you don't mess with "paper" metals....  it is a real Item, that is what you should hold. (if you can't afford the storage, then you can't afford to be in the game.)

It is sad to read this very telling account of the situation a women finds her self in if she is duped in to a relationship by a Psychopath, sadly some one I know is in exactly this precarious situation but like many victims of abusive relationships she thinks he will get better one day and love her and her child properly....

"But having a child or children with a psychopath carries with it great risk. Since antisocial traits are partly genetic, your child or children can inherit those negative characteristics. Moreover, as we’ve seen, a psychopath is incapable of loving anyone. He regards all people, including his children, as tools to get what he wants and as his personal possessions. Like you, they represent objects he will manipulate and control. Like you, they confirm his virility and personal power. As he got tired of you and of every other woman he played with, he will quickly tire of your child, his newest toy."

It depends on the level of the displayed traits to great degree, if its a positive survival trait in leadership then yes but that also takes ability and intelligence, not all psychopaths are intelligent enough or have the ability to pull that off, when that happens you end up with a nothing more than a con artist ripping people off by using the psychopath's charm and talk.

Sadly its a very true point this article makes ;-)
It's the thought that counts. When Apple launches a refresh of its tablet, the earth fairly shakes. Speculation gives way to actual specs, and the tech blogosphere erupts in excitement, discussing what industry will be disrupted next. Will the new camera transform communication? Will the higher-resolution screen transform publishing? What new feature will seize the Apple partisans yet again with delight?

I think Nokia/M$ does have potential. Lovely platform visually, lots of developer support, huge company backing, nokia massive, lower HW requirements, global reach through nokia -- completely different to BB IMO

Another rather telling peace on the Psychopath and how they operate, and yes they do put huge effort in to telling you how they are of morel heart and honest, that they are such gentle and good people, but when you find out what they are like underneath that veneer, that it is all just falsehoods and lies, and if you dare to tell the truth of them, to expose the facts of their lies, well expect them to attack even when they know they can't win, attack is all they know...

"Psychopaths are great at devaluing and rejecting others, but can’t tolerate devaluation and rejection. They cultivate not only a “mask of sanity” as Hervey Cleckley aptly puts it, but also more than that: an image of perfection. They deceive partly for the power and sport of it partly to maintain a facade: as cultivated, desirable, sweet, moral, or whatever other qualities they want to project. This facade functions as their disguise, enabling them to become wolves in sheep’s clothing."

Kinetic electricity, that's certainly an interesting solution to a problem, I can only imagine the confusion of the guy you trying to convince though ;-)
Perhaps a multilayer materiel a semiconductor could be persuaded to drop electrons as it was hit?

Have to looked at LFTR thorium reactors for using waste fuel? looks viable for generating real power and cleaning up waste

This piece I found compelling so I reprint it here...

It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living.

I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.

It doesn’t interest me how old you are.

I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for dreams, for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring your moon.

I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life’s betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain! I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it or fade it or fix it. I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own; if you can dance with wildness and let ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, be realistic, or to remember the limitations of being a human.

It doesn’t interest me if the story you’re telling me is true.

I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself; if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul.
I want to know if you can be faithful and therefore trustworthy. I want to know if you can see beauty even if it’s not pretty every day, and if you can source your life from God’s presence. I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand on the edge of a lake and shout to the silver moon, ‘Yes!’

It doesn’t interest me where you live or how much money you have.

I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair,
weary, bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done for the children.

It doesn’t interest me who you are, how you came to be here.

I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.

It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you have studied.

I want to know what sustains you from the inside, when all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.
