I have visited many Doctor offices lately and really appreciate the service that I get from Vitalogy Skincare. The difference is the "bedside manner" of the Doctors and the politeness of all the employees. I really feel welcomed and I also feel like the Doctors know their stuff. My wife went to the SPA to get some "girly" stuff done and she was very happy with the pricing and the results. I highly recommend Vitalogy Skincare!

I have seen Dr. Cabrera a couple times. Both times she was very professional and quite personable. I appreciate her straightforward manner and the way she answered all the questions I had. In fact for the second visit I specifically requested that she be my doctor. Considering I was in a Doctor's office, I found the experience to be enjoyable. Her nurse was Casey, they were both professional and had excellent rapport.

I took my nine year old daughter to Dr. Cabrera for several skin issues recently and she began making assumptions and slightly dramatic comments about how I had been treating the issues to the point that we brought her in. Simply put, I followed my pediatrician's recommendation until I was asked to see a dermatologist. Not once did Dr. Cabrera ask about family history or understand her activities (swimming) that would have made it clear as to how these issues came about. Instead she made innuendos that we were irresponsible parents and had made some horrible mistakes. To say the least, bedside manner is lacking and some of the comments she made to me in front of my nine year old left her feeling dirty and would have been more appropriate between Dr. and parent. If she had just had brought the discussion to the level of my daughter that would have been appropriate, all would have been well. Unfortunately, I've been explaining that, "Dr.Cabrera did not think you were dirty." ever since our recent appointment. There is more, but I'll leave it at this. I don't recommend Dr. Cabrera.

Georgetown, TX 1.0 star rating 10/4/2012 My husband has used Vitalogy Skin Care several times to remove skin cancers and moles and we never had any problems. But this last April, 2012 when he went in, they took his Insurance card and asked him for the PPO co-pay, as they always do. They knew at that moment what insurance company he was using in addition to advertising that their staff is covered by contracts with our insurance. Then they sent in some P.A. to remove the moles. Later they called back and said one needed further tissue removal because of melanoma. The same P.A. did that procedure. ONLY later, after insurance was filed, did we find out it was being paid as "OUT OF THE NETWORK " and at that point we realized they had scammed us. After many phone calls, I have still not been able to talk with anyone in charge. The Office Manager REFUSES to talk to us. The P.A. they pawned off on my husband did NOT have a PPO contract valid at the time, therefore, there were NO discounts applied, an additional $300 deductible was charged for going Out of Network, and Out of Network ONLY pays 70% of the original cost. Our PPO plan already had the PPO deductible met, and it has discounts applied to the charges, and it then pays 90% of the bill. BECAUSE they pawned off some P.A NOT under contract they say we owe $569 instead of the $69 it should have been under the PPO contract. They are a bunch of scam artists trying to get out of having discounts applied to their bills. My next move will be to go to the Texas Attorney Generals office and fie a complaint, and then file a complaint to the Texas Medical Board, unless their Office Manager decides to call me ..... I've been waiting 6-7 months to clear this up, so I am not holding my breath for them to do the right thing. As it turned out everyone of their doctors were covered by the Insurance Company we use EXCEPT the P.A. they assigned that day to my husband. DISHONEST PEOPLE WORK HERE..... STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I never got past the rude woman answering the phones. As with most dermatology practices, they were quite busy and I was put on hold as soon as the clerk answered the phone. No problem. I was disconnected after waiting for several minutes. When I called back, she answered the same way, "Thank you for calling, will you please hold?" I said, "No problem, but I've already been on hold and got hung up on." She sighed heavily and put me on hold without a word. I immediately called another practice. If they can't answer the phones in a timely and professional manner, I'm certainly not going to give the practice a chance to waste more of my time.

I had to come home and write a review due to the superb care that I recieved from Dr. Cabrera. I have no insurance so was naturaly trying to find quality health care at an affordable rate. I was a bit nervous because the receptionists were not exactly responsive to my queastions over the phone,( giving vague answers about pricing and so forth.) Nontheless I ended up seeing Dr. Cabrera and was truly impressed with her bedside manner. She was welcoming and responsive to all of my concerns and queastions, answering them in a through friendly manner. I did not feel rushed in the slightest. Other doctors would do good to follow suit from Dr. Cabrera. I will most definitly be returning to Dr. C for any other skin care issues. Alicia Round Rock, TX
