Hi Captains,

sry for the long wait for a new update.

We changed a lot of things in Across the Seas. The biggest change is, we have now included Enviro as our main Weather and Time of Day asset. Enviro is a great plugin that allows us to implement many new feature to the sim. And a nice side effect is, the author of Enviro provides an amazing support of his plugin.

New features that comes with Enviro are:

- Rain (also with Terrain wetness)
- Snow (also visible on the Terrain)
- Climate Zones
- Working Fog (we are also able to create exclusive Fog zones)
- Different Cloud layers (we use up to three layers)
- Environment Sound Support
- With a later version realistic looking 3d clouds

Apart from that, we have improved many things in the core engine of #AcrosstheSeas.

Another new part is, the we added a new stern wave (with adjustable height for different ships) and a new bow and stern water spray particles to the boats.

First render preview of the first tugboat "Pegasus" for #AcrosstheSeas. The first in-game shots comes soon.

Hello Captains,

a lot more work is done for #AcrosstheSeas. The new vehicle / 3d model shader is ready and implemented in the sim. The new shader improves the representation of model textures dramatically.

Another big step is, the first instruments are done. Both for the virtual bridge (VC) and the 2d panel.

Just as important is that Simul has released an updated version of trueSKY. This version fixed all the problems with the rain fx. And we have now a really cool night sky with visible stars and the milky way.

Now, we working hard to finish the Dover / Calais area and on the last issues with the ship control. More news will follow soon.

First test with the new Bloom asset from Amplify. The Amplify Bloom will be our new choice for #AcrosstheSeas. It looks great and the effect of the sunlight and all other lights (shiplights, scenerylights....) is awesome.

No more sharp edged and clipped Unity shadows. We have now nice soft shaped shadows in #AcrosstheSeas.

Here are few pictures with the all Post Processing effects except Bloom. If you don't like these effects you can now disable all Post Processing effects in the advanced graphics menu.

Just a quick test, Unreal Engine 4 with Nvidia's Wavework water solution. Sry for the bad Antialiasing settings.

The waveworks water looks stunning and I really like the presentation of the materials and textures in UE4. Would be awesome to have the Nvidia waveworks for Unity......

The new and modern Main Menu. Added also a clean graphics menu...the advanced graphics option menu is on final stages as well. Scenery selection screen is also integrated in the new main menu UI.

Another things we have done this week are working animation for the radars (with adjustable rotation speed). And animations for doors.
