Maxis has reduced its prices for the data add-ons? Is the world coming to an end? Maybe they're just coming to their senses.

+Maxis SurfMore's 1GB Quota Upgrade was RM15, and then it was RM35, and now it is RM15 again.
Maxis SurfMore have data-centric plans with pay-per-call charges. Even when the data quota is reached you can always add-on more data. In January we reported that the upgrades — 500MB at RM10 and 1GB at RM15 — were being increased to RM25 and RM35 respectively, from March’s bill onwards. March came and went and now …

Hmm, if it wasn't for the data carry-forward option that Celcom has, I would definitely jump back to this.

All U Mobile postpaid plans now get a minimum of 2 GB extra internet. The cheapest U28 plan now has a 3 GB quota for high speed internet.

U Mobile has been known to provide one of the best value-for-money mobile internet plans in Malaysia for some time now, and today, this young telco company has announced additional internet quota for its postpaid plans, making U Mobile the new king of…

Need to try and see if the collaboration feature is at least trying to catch up with Google Docs.

In addition to tablets, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps for Android can now work on phones too.

Earlier this year, Microsoft launched 3 new Office preview apps for Android tablets, and about 5 weeks ago, Microsoft announced new preview apps for Android phones as well. And now, it looks like the apps are finally ready for prime time as Microsoft has…

The phone looks great and the camera sounds like it's full of win, but not sure about the price though.

+LG Electronics Malaysia has finally released the LG G4 right here in Malaysia. This is one of the best flagship smartphones of 2015. It is also RM100 cheaper than the S6. Read more about its features right here.
You know how LG went on a hiatus in Malaysia by skipping the release of Nexus 5, and taking eight months to release the LG G3 here after the initial announcement? That is not happening this time around; LG Electronics Malaysia just announced that its high-end flagship LG G4 will start selling here in Malaysia …

Apple Music is cheaper here in Malaysia, at about RM15, than in the US. It really needs to be if it is to stand a chance against its competitors here.

iOS 8.4 is here, it's worldwide, it's always on. It also comes with Apple Music, the streaming service, but get this -- we're getting a cheaper rate here in Malaysia. At RM15 a month, competing music streaming services have much to worry about.
Early yesterday morning Apple released iOS 8.4 to the masses, as promised during its WWDC 2015 keynote. This update offers the overhauled Apple Music app that comes with a music streaming service and a 24/7 always-on internet radio, Beats 1. The OTA download is around 218MB for the iPhone 6 and 171MB on an iPhone …

Looked good but still too expensive I would say for what it has to offer.

+vivo Mobile Malaysia recently launched its flagship X5Pro smartphone with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED, Snapdragon 615 chipset, 13-megapixel phase detection autofocus camera, and it comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop with FunTouch OS 2.1 skin.
Last week on June 25th, vivo officially launched its new X5Pro smartphone in Malaysia, available now for RM1,599. Not only that, the company itself is officially setting up shop here as well. It was a momentous event for vivo, so much so, two of its biggest executives — Alex Feng, Vice President of vivo Global, …

You have an 100Mbps itch? Well, Maxis too can scratch it now. Though it's going to cost way more than what TIME offers.

Surprise, surprise! +Maxis is now offering a 100Mbps plan for its Home Fibre Internet. Available only in limited areas for now. The price may seem expensive -- which it is -- but it may soon have a wider coverage than TIME Fibre, and is way cheaper than TM UniFi's BIZ 100.
Maxis just quietly slipped a 100Mbps package to its Home Fibre Internet page that presumably you can sign-up for soon (if not immediately) for RM398 a month, or RM330 a month if you’re on MaxisONE. It joins the existing 30Mbps, 20Mbps, and 10Mbps fiber plans that Maxis is offering for home users. Other home fiber …
