Love the new Camera App!

Today we’re launching Google Camera, a new app for your Android phone or tablet that makes it easy to take quick photos and videos. And being behind the lens just got more fun with new creative picture modes.

Sleek Design. The 100% viewfinder gets out of your way while capturing the maximum resolution of the scene (no dropped pixels). And the extra large capture button is easy to press so your eyes never lose sight of the subject.

Lens Blur. Emphasize the subject while blurring the background for an SLR-like shot with shallow depth-of-field (or bokeh). You can even change the subject in focus after taking the shot.

Improved Panorama. New higher resolution panoramas capture the full width and detail of a scene.

Photo Sphere. Immersive 360 degree photo spheres let you look up, down and all around...now at up to 50 megapixels! For the first time available on non-Nexus devices.

Google Camera is now available on the Play store (http://goo.gl/llsZjx), and works on all phones and tablets running Android 4.4+ KitKat. We’re just getting started, and in the months ahead we'll make Google Camera available to more devices, helping make photography easier, faster and more fun.

Giving back is so important!

A sappy proposal for future corporate April Fool's Day pranks.
Here's a radical idea. Instead of companies doing pranks for April Fools Day, maybe they should do nice things instead?

Thank you +Vinod Menon. That made me smile cause I realize we rarely give ourselves credit.  But, I don't think I could have made it through without my husband...He's been there for me during those times when I thought I was going insane...I bet there are many other Men who are like him. :) It doesn't work well if Only one or the Other is doing everything. It isn't so apparent when one marries but it does, once the children arrive on the scene.

An uneducated father with his educated son went on
a camping trip. They setup their tent and fell asleep.

Some hours later, the father woke up his son.

Father: look up to the sky and tell me what u see.

Son: I see millions of stars

Father: and what does that tell u?

Son: Astronomically, it tells that there are millions of galaxies and planets!

Father slaps the son hard and says, "Idiot, someone has stolen our tent!!!"

MORAL:
Most of the time Education can spoil our common sense....

+Panasonic Corporation +Panasonic USA I recently bought a (air conditioning) product based on the Brand value Panasonic carries - to my disappointment its been such a bad choice and experience.

Having bought the product, now Panasonic India has surprisingly been running away from helping me service the product.

Inspite of logging several complaints, Panasonic India team has been unable to help me and I've had to run from Distributor to the company, both of them saying its not their responsibility to service their product for which I paid for, in full.

Every other person who calls from the other party (Distributor and Panasonic) is more interested in telling me how their support is structured and that they won't be able to service the product.

Distributor tells me, Panasonic has to service their product and Panasonic surprisingly tells me they can't because its Distributor who is supposed to - Maybe I should call LG or Hitachi to service my Panasonic Air Conditioning product, that might work...?

Why does a Customer have to worry about what relationship and Service Support, Panasonic has with its Distributor or its Service Partner?

My Question for +Panasonic Corporation +Panasonic USA - do you really think you and your products will survive the market if you don't have the capability or the willingness to support your existing Customers?

It has been the most pathetic experience with NDSL - I ordered for a pair of Momentum Headphones for Sennheiser and from the very start the Customer Service has been the most awful i've experienced in my life. To be honest, they have no clue what Customer service means - I had to constantly follow up to ensure that they had shipped the product because their website just kept saying "in process" and after they shipped, they chose the worst Courier partner (Aramex) to deliver it. The shipment arrived on a Sunday (oh! did i tell you they can't be reached on a weekend) and the product packaging was already opened, so anyone could have used it before it got delivered. Post several phones calls, they come back to me saying that the Courier guys goofed up, thats it - no solution was offered. Spoke to a guy who identified himself as a Manager at NDSL, the solution he offered was to take me through the cumbersome process of sending the product back at my own "expense" for them to ship a new one. He was not at all forthcoming to help a Customer deliver for a product that was paid for in full - for a new product, not a used one. I would urge everyone to buy the product off the shelf and not shop with them online (for your own good) - don't go through the pain I went through.

In a city which is known for its Non-Vegetarian delicacies - Chutneys is a paradise for Vegetarian cuisine. Apt to its name, they have great variety of Chutnies to partner with all their Dosa's and Idli's and lets not forget the South Indian thali's. A Must visit if you are in town!
