Firstly kudos for finally bringing the tastiest dessert - the meal would not have been complete without Android Lollipop..
But you should know the expectations from your Customer is much more - we expect a better delivery of Android Lollipop through OTA - wasn't that the precise idea of Nexus getting updates faster and without any hassle or wait time. While I understand you always want Customers to have a bug free delivery so that you can solve any issues before a mass rollout - but don't you think a better job could be done with a concrete schedule and if that schedule could be published to your loyal customers so that they just don't keep hitting that "check now" button forever and still have nothing..
Am sure a schedule can be put up basis unique ID, so that every Nexus users know which date they could expect the update - not just coming weeks as a date..
Believe me i've had sleepless nights since the release :)
