Welcome to my Google+ profile!
My name is Vincenzo Scarafile
and I'm a Choral Conductor, Countertenor and Music Educator based in Puglia, Southern Italy.
After graduating at Conservatoire in Italy I moved to England in 2005 where I sung in several professional cathedral choirs (Canterbury, Southwell and Lincoln) before being appointed Alto Lay Clerk at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford in 2007. I sung in Oxford until July 2012, when I decided to go back to Italy.
Additionally I'm a member of the acclaimed Ars Cantica Choir (Milan) and Artistic Director and Co-founder of the International Campus Musica, Polignano (IT), the largest Summer Music Camp of Southern Italy for young talented musicians.
In 2014 I co-founded and became the conductor of "Gabriel Faure'" Girls Choir from Bari (IT).
In July 2015 I have completed my training to become a Qualified Music Teacher in Secondary Schools at Monopoli Conservatoire of Music.
In my spare time am passionate about photography, Latin languages, design, wine tasting and Mediterranean food.
