When I added rivers way back in time in the early days of Elasticsearch, the idea was somewhat novel. One of the first tasks that users do when using Elasticsearch is to get data into Elasticsearch to make it searchable, so why not allow our community to write plugins that can be installed ...

Ah merci j'avais pas vu passé l'info! Ben pourquoi pas c'est vrai que les
versions d'elasticsearch sortent de manière soutenues et vaux mieux avoir
des API correctement conçus sans avoir de régressions entre chaque version.

#readme ;-)
If you are just starting out with open source one of the most important things to include is good documentation. This starts with a solid README file.

Kubuntu 15.04 is Heating up

http://jriddell.org/2015/03/18/kubuntu-15-04-heating-up/

We are getting close the the final beta for Kubuntu Vivid (soon to be 15.04). Lots of changes, including a transition from LightDM to SDDM; Upstart to sytemd; and Plasma 4 to 5.

There’s still plenty on the bugs list many of them probably quite easy to fix if you fancy helping out.  Our To Do list has plenty to be done including several that could be classes as junior jobs if you’re wanting to get into free software such as making some new recommended applications for the Muon Discover banner or reviewing the ISO contents to see if anything can be removed and get the size down a little.  We’re in #kubuntu-devel on freenode if you want to say hi.

Wooey is a simple web interface (built on Flask) to run command line Python scripts. Think of it as an easy way to get your scripts up on the web for routine data analysis, file processing, or anything else. Inspired by what Gooey can do, turning ArgumentParser-based command-line scripts into ...

I'm happy to announce the second release of Varrick the convenient template engine written in shell script and built around envsubst.

The v0.2.0 release is dedicated to the Manta Ray, a cleaning station visiting, breaching, clever, curious and magnificent creature that is vulnerable to extinction due to overfishing. [1]

Release highlights:
- Improved documentation, including a manual page
- Fixed a bug with escaping when --no-expand or --missing is used
- Arch Linux AUR packages
- Makefile for easy building and installation
- Library changes

Head over to GitHub to learn more!

Use it! Fork it! Hack it! Enjoy it!

Introduction
Open source & Linux enthusiast.
I actively use Python programming language for my work and for hobby (hack on games).

I like the devops approach, tools like Git, Fabric and Puppet to version code and manage deployment have changed my life (and the life of my coworkers ;-) ).

At last, playing games on Steam and doing time to time LAN like in early 2000s is still something I really enjoy :-)
