Facebook not supporting chrome?

I never use Facebook on browser (I use it couple of times on chrome incognito window and still there were Facebook traces left). I always use it using the iPhone app. But according to this article Facebook is redirectin the chrome users to a "help page" saying only supported browsers are IE, FF and Opera.

If Facebook is doing this - this is a bloody cheapshot. If this is true then Facebook is being cheap, nasty and just a sore loser.

Well it turns out the not supported page is shown If you are using an outdated browser like IE6. On that not supported page the three browsers they list are IE, FF and Opera.

This is no as bad a I thought initially reading the article. I tried this on my chrome and chromium last night and it worked. Replacing chrome icon with opera is silly but who is really using IE6?
