Join the Aussies tomorrow for Christmas Down Under.

Live Streaming from multiple locations in Australia on Christmas day!
Join Australia Great on Periscope (@AustraliaGreat) on Christmas day to see how we celebrate in Australia.

What will you see on Christmas day in Australia?
A few examples of what you might see in Australia on Christmas day are: a game of back yard cricket, some snags chucked on the barbie, fish & chips on the beach, a traditional home cooked roast, and someone usually makes a Pavlova, just don’t ask if its Australian or New Zealand in origin, unless you want to start a blue! Some of us spray fake white snow in the corners of our windows, others decorate a gum tree, or put inflatable plastic kangaroos on the front lawn.

How do Aussies celebrate Christmas when it's stinking hot in the middle of summer? Have a look at the Twitter poll and let us know how you'll be celebrating.

Christmas in Australia Twitter Poll
Will you be slaving over a hot oven at the height of summer?
Perhaps you'd prefer to chuck a few snags on the barbie?
Many Aussie grab their sunnies and togs and swing by the beach.
Others take the easy way & choof off to pub for a countery.

How will you be celebrating Christmas in Australia this year?
Lob over to the poll on Twitter to let us know.

+The Adelaide Show Ah you went with the traditional European Christmas. I suspect this choice is more popular in South Australia, with our English and European influences than in the much warmer northern states.
A glass of SA red is Christmas staple in our household too.  I look forward to listening to the Adelaide Show's take on Christmas in the lead up to the big day.  It's one of the best podcasts in Australia!

A New Path to the Hills Hoist
Out with the old retaining wall that was close to falling over, and in with the new moss rock garden.  This area beside the house was a junkyard and was covered by a rotting pergola.  The pergola and old wall were removed and now I have this lovely space.

I particularly love the steps to the clothes line, which was previously only accessible via a rough side path that ran along the back of the house.

I look forward to planting a lot of ferns and other lush plants in it soon.  A new pergola will be erected over the area next week so that it will once again be a covered area, a lovely place to entertain, protected from the weather.

(If you've received a notification of this post it is because you have expressed interest in the past of receiving posts from me on the topic of health and gardening.  Please let me know if you'd rather not receive these and I'll remove you from the circle).

Google Street View Goes "Miniatur" To Capture Hamburg Model Train Exhibit
Tiny Google Street View cameras were fitted to tiny cars and model trains.
Miniatur Wunderland is a massive model railroad exhibit in Hamburg, Germany, spread out over 1,300 square meters (nearly 14,000 square feet). It’s reportedly Hamburg’s most popular tourist attraction.

Struggling with the new Google Plus? +Ana Hoffman has a very helpful guide to help you re-adjust.

HOT OFF THE PRESS 🔥 : How to Use [the New] Google+: Tutorial

This week marked a turning point for Google+.

It went from being the ‘everything-for-everybody site’ to focusing on what Google+ is truly great at: passions.

The new Google+ is all about connecting around common interests (Collections and Communities) rather than people (Circles).

And it's quite a bit different from the 'classic' Google+, as Google fondly refers to it.

In this A to Z tutorial to the new Google+ you'll find everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - you ever needed/wanted to learn about it.

find the full tutorial here: http://tgcafe.it/gplus-tutorial
or pin it for later: http://www.trafficgenerationcafe.com/how-to-use-google-plus-tutorial/

(and I guarantee you'll want to bookmark it... I'll also be working on creating a PDF of the entire tutorial; I'll make it available in the tutorial tomorrow)

If it hadn’t been for Google+, I might’ve not met some of the brightest minds in the marketing industry today – @113690073826160821557  @107022061436866576067  @113055030863291439319  @108493275257625053433  @104858643838035519891  @107499215004519214139  @114918475211209783081  @116816557257681654233  @108384201920217141722 @107070305268662654617 @104328553869453938019 @104683923092143784953 @105076725141939280120 @107665939201638457855 @115620878851836664537 @110619855408549015935 @108210288375340023376 @117778937939543425499 @101696764219780312734 @105370742740673432957 @101037504613481726969 and many, many, MANY more.

If you, too, want to meet and build strong relationships with some of the best deep thinkers in just about any niche, Google+ is definitely for you.

Once again, here are the links:

find the full tutorial here: http://tgcafe.it/gplus-tutorial
or pin it for later: http://www.trafficgenerationcafe.com/how-to-use-google-plus-tutorial/

Please help me to share the ish out of this tutorial! THANK YOU!
The new Google+ is here. It's bolder. It's faster. It's all about your passions. Learn how to use the new Google+ in this complete tutorial.
