Absolutely gorgeous. The staff is always trying to satisfy your every need/concern. Love the atmosphere among the people. We booked the large 2 suite room. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and very spacious. Came in November and the weather is perfect. Definitely coming back!!

We stayed a week and MOST of the hotel staff is awesome. The facilities are immaculate and clean and the food is excellent. DO NOT USE A BROKER TO COORDINATE YOUR ACCOMMODATIONS!!!! You will get hosed and the hotel does not care and the broker will leave you hanging in a foreign country. Honestly I think they count on you settling for less and they laugh all the way to the bank with your hard earned money. The front desk and time share concierge are the worst experience we've ever had and checkout was a chore trying to decipher all the extra taxes and charges. I would have given the hotel a higher rating, but the front desk lost it for us. Buyer beware and stay FAR away from any time-share presentations. We came away unscathed and didn't buy a thing, but they will try to hook you and the experience is awful. The theme nights are fun and they truly go all out. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay it's OK until about 10 a.m. and it will go until about 11 p.m. The pool and beach are very nice and the staff work hard to keep the vendors back and the riff-raff off the property. I only saw one person walk on that didn't belong but she was swiftly escorted (chased) away. We never felt unsafe during our entire trip - even though the restaurant next door (La Leche) was the site of a drug gang kidnapping a few months back. The offered us a tour of the city which we never even used - you can get a taxi for less than $10 American and see everything. They also gave us a 20% off card at the hotel store, but it required using a credit card (don't do it) or charging it to the room (don't do that either.) We will definitely come back, but I would recommend using Expedia to rent the room outright for the time and prepare most of your meals in the kitchenette in your room. Do not get suckered into attending a timeshare presentation IT IS NOT WORTH IT and you WILL regret it.

We booked late and still managed a free room upgrade! The service and staff have been wonderful, especially Ernesto, who went out of his way to give us exceptional service. We decided to give him an extra good tip. He looked confused when he saw the bill and mentioned to us that a service charge was already included. Since he was so nice and honest, we continued to look for him and give him great tips. You should do the same if you visit! The food and rooms were very nice and everything was clean. It's a great place to visit if you're looking for a warm relaxing getaway!
