This is a very nice place. Ground are kept clean, staff is friendly and always willing to help out. Rooms are in very good condition. View is great as long you have a sea view room. They have three decks of pools. Lower deck is a bit to warm for me, middle pool is a bit cooler but I only stood on the top pool, it was the coolest temperature from all. Food is pretty good and also with use to it's sister resort Villa De Palmas. You have more choices to eat from. I wasn't a fan of the pool on the other resort because it was more family oriented, to many kids running around. I would recommend a stay here.

I've stayed at both the Villa del Arco and the Villa Del Palmar. I do prefer the Arco because it has a much more relaxing pool and atmosphere. I would have given it 5 stars, but during my stay there was construction above us the whole time and we were unable to be relocated. Usually I'm not too picky about that stuff, but when you're on vacation and spend a lot to stay somewhere, you hope that it is relaxing when you want an afternoon siesta.

Amazing resort. Rooms are modern and well kept. Recently build resort, so everything is very new. Includes a full kitchen, wash room, very well kept bathrooms with baths. Resort has great food. Pools are very spacious and clean

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around... We visited in October. You could get away with a trip here with just your wallet and phone. This resort is part of three resorts run by the same company. There is a free trolley that will take you between them. There is a market at one that has everything you might need that you didn't bring. Here's a solid packing list: Hygiene Kit, Swimsuit, flip flops, phone charger. This is the quieter of the three connected resorts and has everything you'd need. We went for the all-inclusive option and did our best to eat and drink to make up for the cost, and that was a bit difficult to do. If you don't drink or eat much, skip the all-inclusive option...unless you eat the most expensive item on the menu for all the meals. There are several different themed restaurants on the resort, a few are in the same location and just change theme depending on the time of day. Breakfast buffet was more than satisfactory. Even with the all-inclusive option you'll still have receipts to sign (so many receipts!) and tips are not

Even with the all-inclusive option you'll still have receipts to sign (so many receipts!) and tips are not included so be sure to add those. We stayed in one of the mini-penthouses and most everything was perfect. The only wish I had was that the coffee in the room would be restocked. I can't comment on the other rooms but it seemed everyone we ran into was happy with their accommodations. These are time shares so each room will be a little different. There was ample seating and space around the pools, various hot tubs and the staff/servers were responsive enough. If you wanted to do an activity just ask one of the three concierges in the main lobby and they'll set you up with the resorts' option if it's available. While we were there we wanted to take a Hobie Cat out but they were under repair. The staff doesn't option-offer well, such as "Ours are under repair but there's a vendor down the beach to the right" so you'll need to pry or go look for yourself. On the subject of vendors...a storm in recent years had washed away a lot of beach space in the bay. The vendors are literally at the bottom of the steps to the beach from the resort, they are there all day long. You can hardly walk to the edge of the resort (at the beach) without a vendor trying to sell you something. If you don't like that sort of thing, it can get irksome. The resort is well placed and in proximity to many local hot spots. You will enjoy your time.

Food was not the best. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Paul the bell boy was very kind and recommended some great places. Beds where comfortable and rooms were spacious.

We were locked out of our room at 2:15 a.m. and told to pack our belongings and move to another room. Apparently, there was a clerical error in which the front desk person put us in the wrong room. I asked if this could wait until the next morning because it was 2:15 a.m. and we'd like some sleep, there's clearly nobody needing the room, the hotel is not full, we were told specifically which room to go to, escorted there, given the key and informed that we have the "really nice, upgraded" room, and...did I mention it was 2:15 a.m.? You might think we were greeted with a response like, "yes, of course" or "no problem, we'll take care of it in the morning." If you thought that, you'd be a reasonable person, but you'd be mistaken. Instead, we were told "a group needs the room first thing in the morning," and "sorry we made a mistake, but you need to move now." Believing the night manager, we packed up our belongings (with the manager watching over us in the room as if we were going to steal something), moved to the new room, unpacked, and then tried to get a few hours of sleep. Nobody ever moved into that room they moved us out of. Our new room had a view into the room we moved from. It is now 2 days later, and the room remains completely empty. We're with a group of 10 family members with 5 rooms at the resort (all nice people who wouldn't even send a steak back if cooked improperly), and each couple has a different but similar story like this in which the hotel staff outright lied to them. Look elsewhere if staying in Cabo, and certainly do not buy a timeshare here.
