Apparently, playing games on a smartwatch isnt that easy ... but can be engaging nonetheless. Some thoughts from WSJ
Samsung launched its sixth smartwatch, the Samsung Gear S, late last year. But will you play games with them? The WSJ’s Eva Tam tries out three game apps you can play on your Samsung Gear when you’re away from your phone.

Photo Credit : TheslaeslionBy the middle of my first year in a Social Science PhD program (Information Systems), I realized I had a handicap in research writing. Coming from a background in computer science, I was literally stumped on two early proposal writing tasks - I struggled in organizing my ideas, presenting them in a logical sequence and telling a coherent story . As I read more papers, I realized something. Research writing in the Social...

Watch more: http://cnnmon.ie/1AgyG09 There are now 1.7 job seekers for every one opening. At the height of the recession, it was nearly 7. That means it's now easier to get a job. In addition, more people are now saying "take this job and shove it," which is a sign of confidence in the labor market.

How to scrape webpages with dynamic content/authentication for #socialscience #research http://denvycom.com/blog/data-scraping-selenium-java/
As a researcher, there are many times you will need to assemble a dataset of information in the public domain (on websites) for research studies. E.g you want to analyse thousands comments on a forum, or download and process hundreds of .csv files from an online databank etc.
