Hangout: Getting the most out of Rails Tests #rubyonrails   #testing   #hangout   #open
The different kinds of tests in Rails each have their advantages and disadvantages. But if you can find the right balance between these different types of tests in your app, you can have better test performance, and better test coverage. It'll be easier to improve your test performance later on. And you can use your tests to help you beat procrastination and get started building new features more quickly.

Everyone, I want to invite you to this open hangout with Justin Weiss. He will talk about the different kinds of Rails tests (integration, controller, model), how they overlap, why it’s still useful to have tests of different types, and how he uses the different kinds of tests to drive features in his own apps.

Check out his blog: http://www.justinweiss.com/
