I love the reference to gender judo because I studied judo under a former Olympian and he hammered into to me that judo is using your opponents energy to benefit yourself. This is an extremely important concept for anyone to understand and implement in any endeavor.

The ability to "see around corners" = unemotionally looking at the prevailing trend, natural consequences, and to withstand the forces of denial, + having the courage to act upon this knowledge.

One of the best books for engineers and scientists with high IQs to build EQ - emotional awareness and interpersonal skills. It translates common emotions into math equations to help someone who is more logically oriented than emotional, to understand those who have the opposite profile.
