Last week taught me an important lesson. Despite reaching my very late 30’s tomorrow I still have an awful lot to learn. We have been having a few ‘issues’ with Pickle and Roo’s behaviour of late.  Bickering, shouting and general mean-ness has been…

“Free from gluten, lactose & gelatine” the packet reads on the front. Roo excitedly tucks into product having received it free in my Holland & Barrett goodie bag after the launch of their new concept store in Chester. Halfway through her second sweet she…
Confused by labelling that reads gluten-free and then says the product contains wheat? Roo certainly was when she had a packet of sweets recently...

I couldn't love this more. The amazing Flea, Sally, founder of +Tots100 's daughter has vlogged 'How to Survive a Blogging Conference'. Such amazing tips, I want her to co-host a session with me next year, and so funny too. Plus, highlight of my year-I get a mention about 3 minutes in and Flea compares me to The Saturdays. My job here is done ;) Flea is seriously one little star in the making. The future of blogging right there. Watch it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_F2cq8b_h0&feature=youtu.be

Hello! I offer advice and support to individuals with food allergies, intolerances or coeliac disease as well as to businesses wishing to cater for these people. According to the NHS approximately 2% of the adult population, and 8% of children under 3 suffer from a food allergy. Many more suffer from food intolerances but there are no accurate figures as symptoms are often confused with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), inflammatory bowel disease or gastrointestinal obstructions. About 1 in 100 people have coeliac disease, although it is estimated that up to half a million people are undiagnosed. If you would like to contact me to discuss how I can help you please email me on freefromfairy@gmail.com specifiying whether you are looking for individual advice and support or whether you are a business looking to cater for people with restrictions to their diet. Where possible I provide my advice and support for free.
