Oh I hate all the automated stuff, well, actually not always. I hate when speaking to a human is no longer an option! LOL
I've been known to pack up and drive the 30+ miles to the county courthouse just to avoid dealing with computerized everything.  If you actually walk in and ask where you can pay for such and such, they usually will direct you to an office.
Your attitude is great though!

Introduction
I love my life homeschooling my children and creating art, crafts, and photographs that reflect the beauty of God's creation and His grace toward humankind. I have always enjoyed drawing in pencil, pastels, oil pastels, and ink, but have just recently begun to experiment with paints and I am growing to love it above all other media.

Though I enjoy all arts, crafts, and photography, and ardently seek to capture and portray the beauty surrounding and within me, I recognize that every work is simply a dim reflection of the true thing, a dim reflection of God's creative powers, hence the name of my shop and gallery, "Ardent Reflections".

Not the Marriott, but a clean bed, clean towels, friendly staff, a pool, hot tub, laundry room, free parking, and continental breakfast. All at an affordable rate. That's the positive. The negative is that the building needs some repair (peeling paint, cracked plaster, missing outlet covers), and cleaning could be a little more thorough (the corners of the floor had a lot of visible dust accumulation). The area is not the best, but not really bad either, near a freeway and a railroad track, so some noise at night. All-in-all I'd say its pretty good for the price in such a frequently traveled to location. After I wrote this review, on the final night I booked for, the desk issued a key for my room to someone else, while I was still in the room. So I was woke up by a strange man entering my room at night. It was an error,,and the hotel staff was very apologetic and discounted our stay because of it. Still... I wonder what would have happened if the man was a predatory type, or if I had gone out and left my belongings... This cost them points in my book. And changed my rating from three down to two stars.

Blanket on bed had old food encrusted on it when we arrived. We asked for a bed change and were handed sheets to do it ourselves. When we explained that it was the blanket,,not just the sheets, staff refused to give us another blanket. The remote for the tv didn't work, we asked about it and were given another, which also didn't work. We reserved the room for four people,,and only had two towels. Honestly, if not for the filthy bedding... The other things wouldn't have bothered me that much.
