Free advice at 2 o'clock in the morning when we were delivering our first ever lamb. Vets One really do put animals first. Without them our venture into smallholding would have been a lot, lot more tricky. Fantastic!

Katharine was efficient and sympathetic, both when called out to our premises out of hours in an emergency situation and also when we have taken animals to the practice. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I had the misfortune of dealing with this so called vets, I was met by a very rude man called Simon who looked down his nose at me and kindly pointed out the fees as If I looked like I could not afford them. I was wearing my work clothes but got the feeing he was sticking his nose up at me so decided to take my animal to be treated elsewhere. I was horrified by his whole attitude and smarmy attitude. Would certainly not recommend this company to anyone and would urge others to avoid!

Anyone who knows us will be aware that:: 1. Any comments above do not reflect our business correctly in anyway. 2. Our pricing policy is without doubt the fairest in East Anglia 3. ,,,and that Simon doesn't know how to be smarmy! :0) The review appears to be from someone called Mr A Reviewer. A fake name. A fake profile and of course has now been reported to Google. Please ignore!

My first experience with these guys was with a poorly hen. Being new to the area I googled Poultry vet, and Vets 1 was the first to come up but I also liked their summary so gave them a call. They fitted Princess in that same day! I have been since with another chicken, and then with my new kitty! I wouldn't go elsewhere now, and recommend them to anyone who mentions vet care! Thank you Vets 1!

Very good experience for my first and second visit with Dillon. Being fairly new to the area it has been difficult sourcing a vet I felt comfortable with and could trust as I did our previous vet back in Essex/Herts. I feel confident I have now managed to find a vets practice I can trust and feel comfortable with. Very good value for money and our Insurance underwriter is also impressed with them and has looked at their web site and they also feel I have made a good choice. Ben was very accommodating when I popped along without the dog to meet them and have a chat and showed me round and told me of everything they have planned for the near future. I also met Simon and Katherine both very nice people and willing to listen to my concerns and stories about my big lad. Who is very special to me. I am looking forward to going on their journey with them as their practice for small animals grows as big and as successful as their large animal practice.

Downham Market Vet, Katharine, visited a local 'Rainbow' group in between calls tonight.

The group behaved perfectly, had lots of interesting questions and seemed keen to learn everything about animals and their care!

Katharine sends thanks back for the lovely flowers and chocolates!

As building work on phase 1 comes to a close phase 2 starts!

The monks that used to live at Bexwell believed water from our well had magical healing properties. The well will now live under our suite of operating theatres but is open for a day or two if you fancy a quick dip!
