Dear Veterans
I'm a sophomore H.S. student and I don't like the way our country is heading, I'm doing all I can to help my dad. I see how the Gov has turned it's bank on my dad who receives no gov benefits which hurts our entire family structure. I'm asking in faith that you and staff support me and my sister sight @ http://vonnavemma.vemma.com
http://bbarwick.vemma.com  We are very grateful and thankful for your support, as you have given so shall it be multiplied back to you by almighty God.

Interesting Article..... "The Single Most Devastating Flaw In Hiring Veterans" "As of September, the unemployment rate among post 9-11 veterans is 9.1%. While lower than the 11.7% from a year ago, it's still significantly higher than the unemployment rate of non-veterans, which currently sits at 7.4%. To ameliorate this gap, private and public institutions are making significant headway to grow their veteran hiring programs." You have a lot of friends with the same cause. You and they have ambitions, to serve our country, to improve health... to make money.
If you have considered a second income (potentially one that will blow away what you make now), I know how much you care about our troops and their families. You understand that we can never do enough to repay all that they have done and continue to do to protect the freedoms we enjoy daily. Right now, I'd like to ask you to help us provide care for these troops who are walking the long road of recovery. It's the greatest gift we can give them. It's FREE to become a Vemma Brand Partner!

A USMC Veteran helping other Veterans with Job Seeking and Outplacement Assistance for Veterans and their Family Members
Introduction
Everyone out of work is finding it hard to find employment; however, Veterans make up 17% of the overall unemployment or underemployment population. Our Military trains our young men and women in over 220 specialized occupations – it is the largest technical school in the world. What this tells us is that our Veterans also need help Transitioning back into the community. They deserve more than an... unemployment check, or a part-time job that has no career potential.

When our Veterans transition into the civilian world they need to get back to work in order to restore that sense of confidence and individual identity making them a viable part of society – and this is where Veterans In Transition would like to help.

Veterans In Transition was founded in March 2011 with the idea just to hold a Job Search Accountably Group. But after taking a step back and looking at the big picture we see that much more can be done for all Transitioning Veterans.
The goal of Veterans In Transition is to find funding for expansion of their Outplacement program while increasing local and national awareness.
Veterans In Transition is also looking for other Veteran non-profit organizations who truly are a non-profit and Veteran advocacy agency while demonstrating experience and success and that can lend access to their facilities for meetings, events, fundraisers, etc…
It is also the goal of Veterans In Transition to facilitate awareness of programs available to Veterans outside of the VA. To that end, it is Veterans In Transition intent to work with the community to in order to facilitate these programs with a no solicitation rule in place.
