The Burn Pit Registry isn't just a listing it provides Veterans long term follow up for any conditions they have or could emerge down the road. It allows VA to identify conditions for all Veterans more quickly to make sure that Veterans get the health care that they need in a timely manner. #BurnPitRegistry
If you have experienced respiratory symptoms or health conditions that may be related to exposure to burn pits while deployed, you should register in the Airborne Hazards and Open Burn Pit Registry.

we want you to get the care you need in a timely manner. Have you spoken with your patient advocate about the issue? They can work with you. You can find their contact information here: http://www.baypines.va.gov/BAYPINES/patients/customerservice.asp

Did you know that, to date, only 2% of Veterans and Servicemembers that can join the #BurnPitRegistry have signed up? We need as many participants as possible. Learn more about the registry and how to sign up. http://go.usa.gov/cwhUT

Somebody said that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
Read the inspirational words of an Air Force Veteran who eloquently describes how he lives every day with Multiple Sclerosis. His courage and resolve serve as a valuable example to us all.

Each day VA is doing a better job at delivering health care, but more work is needed to transform VA Community Care from good to great. One of the forces transforming how we deliver VA Community Care is our staff. VA staff from Oregon to Florida is coming together to volunteer their time and talents to help VA create a seamless care experience and be a better partner to community providers. Video 2 in the VA Community Care series introduces you to the individuals at the helm and provides a glimpse into the exciting work we are doing to improve VA Community Care.

Ken “the Whistler” Irving is a 17+ year volunteer at Dorn VAMC. Veterans usually see him whistling as he’s driving one of the golf cart shuttles around the Dorn VAMC campus.
Take Ken’s advice and become a VA volunteer!
