The Burn Pit Registry isn't just a listing it provides Veterans long term follow up for any conditions they have or could emerge down the road. It allows VA to identify conditions for all Veterans more quickly to make sure that Veterans get the health care that they need in a timely manner. #BurnPitRegistry
If you have experienced respiratory symptoms or health conditions that may be related to exposure to burn pits while deployed, you should register in the Airborne Hazards and Open Burn Pit Registry.

we want you to get the care you need in a timely manner. Have you spoken with your patient advocate about the issue? They can work with you. You can find their contact information here: http://www.baypines.va.gov/BAYPINES/patients/customerservice.asp

It's employees like Francis Welch who help make VA great. Help us thank her for her 41 years of care for our nation's Veterans. http://www.wacotrib.com/news/military/waco-va-rehab-specialist-brought-humor-laughter-to-veterans-over/article_eeb3fea8-4356-5698-8af3-7992dbccf384.html
The stories were different but their endings remained the same Friday as friends shared tales of Frances Welch’s humor and contagious laugh during her retirement party at the Doris Miller Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Waco.

On this day in 1975, as Saigon fell to North Vietnam, the largest helicopter evacuation in history occurred as brave Servicemembers flew into Saigon to rescue American citizens before the North Vietnamese army entered the city.

These additions provide a pop of color and a variety of nutrients needed for maintaining a healthy body. For a full list of seasonal produce and recipes follow the link below. If you pray today remember to include our Veterans as you do. Their sacrifice and courage give us the opportunity to practice our faiths and ideals freely.

This afternoon International Holocaust Remembrance Day begins. We remember today so that we may never see such atrocities again. So that our Veterans who fought for freedom, fought for something that will last. We remember today because we must.

As a VA patient, you have a say in the health care you receive. When you and your doctor are deciding on whether a test or procedure is right for you, “You need to be part of the conversation,” says Dr. David Alfandre of the VA National Center for Ethics in Health Care. To help Veterans and their loved ones stay in the conversation, VA offers Dialed In: Helping Veterans Take Control of Their Health Care, a podcast series featuring the voices of Veterans and VA health care providers. Each podcast looks at a different health care planning challenge and suggests questions to ask and ways to deal with it, from the Veteran’s point of view. http://www.ethics.va.gov/veterans_podcast.asp
