Part of the +Accenture Quarterly Webinar Series in part with the +Institute for Veterans and Military Families. Presentation topic this month is "Building your Personal Brand: Selling Yourself in a Sea of Sameness.

Giovanni’s bio: Giovanni Modica is a Management Consulting Senior Analyst at Accenture, where he supports both Federal and Commercial clients. His service areas have included Resource Management, Project Management, Business Analysis and Training Development. Currently, he is providing Training Development for the National Guard’s Substance Abuse Program, and also serves as Accenture’s DC Military Employee Group Corporate Citizenship Lead.  Prior to joining Accenture, Giovanni served in the North Carolina Army National Guard as an Infantryman, and in 2009 he deployed with the 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team in Support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Giovanni graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in 2012. For his service to the University’s International Student, Veteran, and College of Business communities, he was awarded the University’s highest award for leadership: the W.H. Plemmons Leadership Medallion. His interest in entrepreneurship began after he completed a marketing internship for a Chinese Entrepreneur in Shenyang, China.  In his free time he enjoys snow skiing, riding his motorcycle, and seeing live music.

The #VWISE  next program location is Washington, D.C.!  The event will take place May 28-30 at +The Mayflower Renaissance Washington, DC Hotel.  Applications will be  accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the class is full, but no later than April 15th.  The associated 15-day online curriculum will begin on May 4th.  200 women veterans and female military spouses will be accepted into the program and there are currently only 20 seats open!
