Timeless River - Photography by Marc Adamus www.marcadamus.com A remote overlook deep inside the grandest range of mountains on the North American continent, which is all but untouched by us modern photographers. Here there are no voices but your own, yet the landscape speaks clearly as it rises above. Man's presence pales before the power of this wilderness eternally carved from the icebound rivers.
Most of my new work, including lots of new views from this range will wait until the release of my new website in early November of this year. However, I just recently had an opportunity to backpack here this past couple of weeks, so I have decided to share one with you now as well. These coastal ranges, spanning nearly 1500 miles, feature plenty of views like this as well as gardens of summer flowers as lush as any. Their vertical relief, on account of being so recently forged, is stunning, often exceeding a vertical mile sheer from the sea. They have been of ceaseless fascination to me the last few years due to their incredible remoteness as much as their limitless photogenic qualities.
I have am also in the midst of projects involving several other remote ranges and other areas around the world which I hope to share with you later.
This is six 14mm shots stitched, hand-held. - Marc Adamus

INNOCENCE

The first things that come to mind
when I think of innocence
are boldness and lack of experience.
The lack of experience
believe it or not
can be the greatest advantage
that some of us have got.

Take for one my sweet son:
the first time he sat on a bike
with just two wheels
he rode off pushing the pedals
with his heels.
He was so eager,
his mind was set,
He didn’t know that
you can’t ride a bike
just like that.
I wanted to tell him
that he’d have to practice
and learn,
but it was too late,
he disappeared from view
in one swift turn.

If only I could
just like that
unlearn my lessons
my limits forget
I’d be so daring
I’d be willing to go
where no one has ever gone before

But as it goes,
over the course of the years
I’ve accrued quite a few souvenirs
reminding me to trust in my fears.
And I still sometimes
dive into the deep
but now I look before I leap.

And as I wait for my son
to come back with his new bike
I remember how frisky I was,
we are so much alike.
I remember with longing
those bright, shiny days
when I too felt omnipotence.

If I could
I’d go back in time,
If I could
I’d design a transmission line
for the powerful bliss of ignorance -
It’s where i lost my innocence.

Story
Tagline
Social media enthusiast, web designer, publisher
Introduction
My name is Vesna. I currently live in city I was born in - Belgrade, Serbia, with my partner, two daughters and 3 dogs.
I was working in tourism industry for years, travelled a lot and lived in many amazing places. In 2005. I settled in Belgrade and established VIP KIDS ltd. publishing house which is publishing personalized books for children.
As I am restless by nature and as I wanted to be designer as far as I can remember, I decided to study WEB design at ITAcademy Belgrade. As always I was a student with flying marks :)
In the meanwhile my interest grew for social media marketing. I was making a lot of friends in that field and learning many things fast. This hobby became a business and we made FriendFiler - team of experts in social media.

Odlican hostel, vrlo moderan i uredan. Kako je u blizini sajma, preporucujem ga svim izlagacima. Sobe su veoma fleksibilne sto se broja kreveta tice, a osoblje je usluzno i veselo.

Great apartments at great locations in Belgrade. I always had a problem with accommodation for my friends and business guests that do not like staying in hotels. I was thrilled to find Apartments Belgrade with their modern designed flats with all facilities on great locations and affordable rates! I am recommending them sincerely to anyone!
