[New blog post!] I’m that summer girl who never complains about the heat or the pounding sun. So, I do get sad when autumn rolls in, because it means that our long, harsh winter is just around the corner. But autumn – autumn is an unparalleled feast for the eyes, and I celebrate its wild beauty every year by choosing to walk, notice and photograph its details. I never tire of the simple joy of falling leaves and how the city get transformed during those months that end in “-er”. On the blog, a collection of photographs from my autumn strolls and a celebration of the details that filled me with wonder.

[New blog post on NYC!] My style of travelling is essentially taking a really long walk through a city. It's how I get acquainted (or re-acquainted) with it, its lights, its flow and its neighborhoods. On the blog are some of my photos from a long stroll through Brooklyn, Manhattan and Long Island last weekend. As usual, you'll see some very ordinary sights, and some typically NYC ones! I just snap what speaks to me!

Don't forget to leave a comment on the blog. I always love to know if you're following along :)

Photography is an art that requires both spontaneity and patience. As lucky and skilled as you have to be to quickly capture inspiring compositions before the moment dissolves, you also encounter times where you must wait - patiently and observantly - for your vision to materialize before you press the shutter. On the blog on this Monday are 5 photographs (and their descriptions) where I remember having been VERY patient.

Some places teach us about contrasts and ironies, fleeting time and persisting time. They marvel us with how they can be aging yet timeless. Some places leave us quite speechless. On the blog, the feeling behind my photograph from Havana Cuba called "Layers of Beauty".

Curious which of my travel photographs from Nova Scotia made it into my upcoming wall art collection? Head to the blog for the reveal! I poured a lot of heart into these pieces because of the way the scenery made me feel. Each of these will be available as framed or unframed prints on fine-art paper, satin paper, as well as on canvas, wood, acrylic or metal in the size of your choice.
