This weekend Student Minister Dr. Ava Mohammad of the Nation of Islam was in Louisiana: New Orleans, at Mosque 16 on Friday, December 26; Kwanzaa Day 2 (Saturday) at Southern University Cotillion Ballroom and a Town Hall Meeting at Elm Baptist Church in Baton Rouge(Sunday) hosted by Bro Lewis Ali and the Hot Black Coffee Party. There was a presentation by the Nation of Islam women security squad at Kwanzaa which was riveting.... precision, precision, precision. The panel discussion at the church was powerful and fruitful: a co-op for farm produce will be sold at the church during weekdays and Saturdays coordinated by Bro Lewis Ali and associates.
The vendors at this weekend event were many: organic honey, sweet potatoes, turnips, hair products, jewelry, "Black History Museum" display of Black American inventors, a library of Minister Farrakhan's writings (books) and presentations (CD's and DVD's) and commemorative T-shirts and sweatshirts for the recently murdered young Black American men. The weekend was electrifying.
