About the employer

The focus in the UK will be on media work and campaigns, which will be innovative, highly effective and impact-driven. ProVeg will work towards influencing the food industry, chefs and caterers, activists, other NGOs and the medical profession, while also lobbying for change at a policy level.

Am looking for two awesome people to join us until Xmas at The Conscious Cake Cafe in Central London.

At the Conscious Cake Cafe all of our artisan cakes, mince pies, porridge and hot savoury lunches are organic, vegan, and free from wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, cane sugar, nuts and soy. All of us are Reiki or Theta healers and the food is blessed with love with a wish for the health and happiness of whoever eats one

I am looking for people who can work some of the hours between 10am - 4.30pm Mon-Thurs, 7.30am - 4.30pm on Fridays and some Saturdays. There will be more hours available in the 2 weeks running up to Xmas.

This is a pop-up cafe open until Xmas, so the position is only until then. However we are looking to open our own place next year, and so, there will be an opportunity then too.

So are you:
- vegan (but understanding and compassionate towards non-vegans who haven't got there - yet!)
- passionate about health and food
- passionate about people and the planet
- preferably trained in Reiki or Theta healing

There will be an opportunity to be trained in icing the cakes, too, so if you like cake decorating that would be a bonus!

The role will involve serving customers, general kitchen duties (such as washing up), cake decorating, and talking about the conscious cakes, the vision, the cakes and their ingredients.

You will need:
- a positive outlook
- a pro-active can do attitude
- a flexible approach
- a passion for healthy eating and living
- a love of people
- a love of cakes

Please get in touch with a CV or short video telling us:
1) a little bit about you & why you are interested in joining us
2) any previous cafe experience
3) which of the Conscious Cake flavours you think would be your favourite and why
