A great explanation of z-index!
The z-index property in CSS seems simple enough, but there's a lot to discover beneath the surface if you really want to understand how it works. In this tutorial we'll clarify the inner workings of z-index, by looking at stacking contexts and a few practical examples. | Tags: HTML/CSS, Front End

Hackeroo is a music hackathon for Bonnaroo. The challenge is to create innovative uses for the fan-generated content at Bonnaroo and to memorialize and share the experience of Bonnaroo using the best of web and mobile technology. If you're going to be in the Manchester, TN area on June 8-9 you should consider attending - there will be fabulous prizes (TBD).

Wow, I always forget how "basic" things were in the mid 90's. It was not less challenging, just different. Nice find +Vaughn D. Taylor

I want to give this a try!

This trick I came up with may be useful to a few of the builders in this community.
Turning a cordless drill into a Metal Lathe which I used to machine perfectly centered holes, into the end of a rod. With 20 microns of accuracy. Not bad for someone with shaky hands.

The Reservoir Cafe is a comfortable and friendly place to get a cup of Joe, a bite to eat, and get some work done (they have free Wifi). There's nothing pretentious about the baristas unlike some of the other coffee shops and they are not corporate. The owners (Jim and Kendra) just want to give you good food and drinks! They offer a wide variety of coffees, teas and espresso drinks, but they also have breakfast tacos, sandwiches and homemade pastries.
