Good morning!!!! Life is too short to hold on to grudges or to be sour about insignificant things. Focus on making yourself a better person. Holding onto all of that baggage tends to keep you down. After almost a week I got to talk to my dad and brother. My sister messaged me telling me that they were fine. I heard his voice and relief washed over me. They say that they are fine, but what is fine? Hurricane Maria has dealt a blow to my home land and the destruction that we see is only on the surface. The ones who went through the storm carry the wounds of a war that they have no place in. #dominicastrong
