Something very cool you should try
Go to Google Maps in your computer's browser. Expand out to show all the continents. Now, go to the bottom right and find Pegman, the little yellow guy, and grab him with your mouse (right click and hold). You will see large portions of the world show up blue. That is where Street View has gotten to so far. If you just drag Pegman over any random part of the blue areas and drop him, it will usually pull up a nice photosphere someone has submitted. But, if you zoom in just a little bit first, to the point where you can see roads, you can drop him on a road and you will go immediately to Street View right there. If it looks cool, wander around (clicking the arrows on the street)! If not, in the bottom corner you will see a mini-map that says "Back to Map". Just click that and try somewhere else. Go to places you always wanted to see, or just go at random. The picture here is the northernmost place I could find on Google Maps Street View, in northern Norway. Go to Botswana, or Rio, or a Greek Island. Then just wander around.
Edit to add: a good tip is to switch to "Earth" view so you can see what the terrain, etc, look like before you "drop in", the blue lines still show up.
