This is a post I wrote more than 4 years ago. I was reading trends and predictions tied to tools and it came to mind because it's still quite applicable to the current discussion.

Some great thoughts from that post. The AI aspect however, I think will be a very long way off to that detail. We are deep in with AI for our software and machine learning is surprisingly slow and plodding for where it should be. The added challenge is AI is good with text and numbers but lousy with images, video and sound. It's this mixture of data types that will need to be better understood before we see deeper values to products. But it will come to market some day, I agree.
