Spent a week at the Vail International Condos over the holidays with my husband and two kids and what a great week we had. Thank you mother nature for the snow and Vail International for the warm accommodations. This condo building couldn't be set in a more perfect location. It's located between the two Villages, Lionshead and Vail Village, right behind the indoor ice arena and library. Both great activities for the kids. Less than 5 min walk to the slopes and right on the bus line if you prefer. There is ample parking for friends to visit. The management was super helpful and kind and our condo had the perfect view of the slopes. Kids had a blast in the outdoor pool and hot tub. We will be back!

Was there for the closing weekend of the ski season. Great central, location: five minute (in ski boots) walk to the library/ice arena shuttle bus stop. After skiing, it was an easy walk (in street shoes) to restaurants and shops in the village.

Just back from 4 days at the Vail International and my experience was outstanding. Ideal Lionshead location, great amenities (hot tub, steam, pool etc.) and probably the best bang for your buck in Vail. The ability to cook and relax with a little space was also critical and saved us a few bucks on F&B. The experience in Vail is always great, between big terrain, great meals and a robust apres - the VI is a great way to access it all!

My ski club has stayed several times at the Int'l and enjoyed every minute of it. The rooms & amenities are all that could be asked for. An ideal place for ski clubs, families or even a group of friends. Personally, I enjoyed sitting under the waterfall.

Vail International is an awesome place to call home during a vacation to Vail. The property is ideally situated between Lionshead and Vail Village (right behind Dobson Arena-the ice rink) - an easy walk either way - or if you are feeling lazy, the free bus stops a very short walk from the condos. You can easily walk to the EagleBahn Gondola during ski season. The condos are all privately owned, and show the personality of their owners. Most have been refurbished in the last three years, with many updating their kitchens with granite countertops. The kitchens allow you to cook in, and all seem to have all the necessary utensils. The units themselves are mostly two bedrooms with two baths (although there are a few monster units that will hold 8+ easily). The master in each is adequate, but be aware that the building was built in the mid-70's, and the second bed and bath is small. All of the units we have stayed in have a fireplace (mostly gas), and most have been updated with flat screen tv's. A comfortable area to relax with friends or family. Almost all of the condos have some sort of mountain view, with most having a million dollar view of the ski mountain. Even though they are condos, daily maid service is provided. There is a year 'round hot tub and swimming pool, which is a great place to meet up with others and share your mountain experiences. Wireless internet is available throughout the complex, and they even have a computer with printer (great for boarding passes) in the main lobby. Management seems to always be trying to improve the property and experience. The staff has been here forever, and are very friendly and very accomodating. They know Vail inside out, and can give you great advice. The best news - you get all this at unbelievable prices. Certainly the best 'in-town' value in Vail - and it even includes free parking! I wish I could live here!

I have stayed at the Vail International at least 10 times over the past 15 years or so. I have always felt it was a very good value. It is a moderate price in an expensive neighborhood - only a few minutes walk to the Lions Head gondola. The pool and hot tub are nice, and the management people have always been very helpful. The units are privately owned, so there is a variation from one to another. Obviously some units will be nicer than others, but that is the nature of most ski properties.
