solving world wide problems | The Choice is Ours (Parts I & II of a 3-part series) 28 language subtitles (Lithuanian also, Lietuviški subtitrai)

This film series explores many aspects of our society.  To rethink what is possible in our world, we need to consider what kind of world we want to live in.  Although we refer to it as civilization, it is anything but civilized.  Visions of global unity & fellowship have long inspired humanity, yet the social arrangements up to the present have largely failed to produce a peaceful and productive world.  While we appear to be technically advanced, our values and behaviors are not.  The possibility of an optimistic future is in stark contrast to our current social, economic, and environmental dilemmas.  The Choice Is Ours includes interviews with notable scientists, media professionals, authors, and other thinkers exploring the difficulties we face.

Part I provides an introduction & overview of cultural & environmental conditions that are untenable for a sustainable world civilization.  It explores the determinants of behavior to dispel the myth of “human nature”, while demonstrating how environment shapes behavior.  The science of behavior is an important yet largely missing ingredient in our culture.

Part II questions the values, behaviors, and consequences of our social structures, and illustrates how our global monetary system is obsolete and increasingly insufficient to meet the needs of most people.  Critical consideration of the banking, media, and criminal justice systems reveals these institutions for what they really are: tools of social control managed by the established political and economic elite. If we stay the present course, the familiar cycles of crime, economic booms & busts, war, and further environmental destruction are inevitable.

Part III (to be released later this year) will explain the methods and potential of science.  It will propose solutions that we can apply at present to eliminate the use of non-renewable sources of energy.  It will depict the vision of The Venus Project to build an entirely new world from the ground up: a “redesign of the culture”, where all enjoy a high standard of living, free of servitude and debt, while also protecting the environment.  Our problems are mostly of our own making, but we can still turn things around before the point of no return. It’s not too late for an optimistic outlook on the fantastic possibilities that lie before us.

happiness comes from living the truth. openness lets us see more. knowing is doing.
The very purpose of our life is happiness, which is sustained by hope. We have no guarantee about the future, but we exist in the hope of something better. Hope means keeping going, thinking, ‘I can do this.’ It brings inner strength, self-confidence, the ability to do what you do honestly, truthfully and transparently.

Reality is what we prefer | undergroud nuclear explosion at Fukushima atomic plant 2013-12-01

The thing I was saying that Fukushima plant exploded because of tsunami created by Russia with similar facility as HAARP as a revenge, when some Japan government members expressed anger just about 1-2 months ago towards Russia over some isslands that belong to Russia now and as they see should belong to Japan, seems even more clear.

Now seems like Russia makes all Fukushima information top classified, because they think that whole world will blame Russia for poisoning same world with radiation. They wanted to just shake Fukushima and now even world wide effects are possible not just Japan. As some russian military bosses brag as how they can easily shift magnetic field on north pole and turning world make all america continent sink under water - seems now Fukushima will not be something to brag about.

So moral is if we dont understand each other lets talk it out, not set in motion a revenge that can end most of the species.

Just thougt to share. Have a nice day.

What is the difference between the driver and a passenger? A passenger can view what is happening outside, also what is happening inside the car, and can have some influence on where the car is going. For the driver it is at least so, and additionally driver really understands how the car works and how to use it. The driver can choose where to go, if the car doesn't move or emits some bad sounds the experienced driver who knows his car will know what properties of the car caused it.

If our mind would be like a car, how sure we would conclude that we are the driver or a passenger of it? Point is, people attach a lot to what they see outside, or inside themselves, but they don't really care to understand the causality behind it. They don't invest on time to understand the attributes of mind, how it works, and how to really "drive" it, not just sometimes have ideas of where to go with it.
