"Oral health" used to be defined as the absence of disease.
Recently, however, the FDI Dental World Federation set forth a NEW definition that we (and the American Dental Association) support wholeheartedly: "Oral health is multifaceted and includes the ability to speak, smile, smell, taste, touch, chew, swallow, and convey a range of emotions through facial expressions with confidence and without pain, discomfort, and disease of the craniofacial complex."

At Vacendak Dentistry, we approach our patients' oral health with all of these factors in mind. Your comfort and confidence are our priority.
