It's finally Election Day! If you don't have a VTelevision subscription, here are some ways you can tune in live to the results coverage.
Back in the olden days, learning who the next president was going to be required huddling around a 4-inch TV set made of sticks and mud and literal rabbit ears. But today there are dozens of options available through what’s commonly called the “internet.” And if you’re wondering how to watch tonight’s coverage of the election results using this newfangled technology, Gizmodo has you covered.

Hello Neighbors,

On January 1, 2017, several changes will take place to our lineup due to changes being made by NBC in Boston. We apologize for the short notice, but we only recently found out from NBC about these changes and we were working tirelessly to make sure our customers receive the best treatment by NBC.

NBC out of Boston will now be carried by WBTS, available on VTelevision on channel 9 for SD and channel 1009 for HD. This channel will be available to all VTelevision subscribers regardless of location.

WHDH, channel 7 and 1007, which formerly carried NBC out of Boston, will no longer carry NBC content but will continue as an independent station and will still be available to VTelevision subscribers.

Another change will affect only customers in Windham County. Telemundo, which was formerly available on channel 508 as part of the Spanish Mini Pack, will now be available on channel 16 as part of the Broadcast Basic package. This means each VTelevision subscriber in Windham County will have access to Telemundo. Subscribers in Windsor, Rutland, and Bennington Counties will still find Telemundo on channel 508 as part of the Spanish Mini Pack or the Ultimate Package.

If you have questions about these changes, please feel free to call our offices Monday through Saturday, 8am-5pm locally at (802) 885-9000 or toll-free at (800) 279-4049.

Thanks,

The VTelevision Team

Hulu recently announced that it now supports 4k streaming. With only a minimum of 13 Mbps Internet speeds required to stream 4k content, all VTel GigE Internet customers will be able to enjoy the new service seamlessly.
At this point, however, Hulu's selection of 4K content is kind of limited.
