Early Education, Universal Pre-K on Vermont PBS

Early educational opportunities provide students with the age appropriate skills and tools necessary to be ready for kindergarten.  There are many individuals and institutions that have worked tirelessly to make Vermont the first state in the nation to offer universal pre-school to 3- and 4- year olds.  Education Secretary Rebecca Holcombe and Melissa Riegel-Garrett are ensuring that this critical policy becomes a reality for all of our children in Vermont.
