Now for something a little different
Quad biking across the Makgadikgadi Pans and the Kalahari Desert of Botswana. Sleeping under the stars at the remote Kubu Island is without question a highlight.

The Old Postal Route
Best described as a track between the Tankwa Karoo and the Cederberg village of Wupperthal.
70 odd kilometres in distance over a duration of 8 hours, in other words, the road is bad but the scenery is nothing short of spectacular.
This is one isolated part of the world.
Yes, a 4x4 is required.

The famed Knysna Heads of South Africa's Garden Route.
This scenic spot is a few kilometres drive from the town of Knysna and offers up pretty good vistas of the Indian Ocean, Knysna Lagoon and two dramatic sea cliffs.
A safari along the Garden Route is a must for all visitors to South Africa. This region ranks up there with the Kruger Park and Cape Town.

Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park was the destination for a few of us at Uyaphi.com this last December (2016).
It was awesome seeing a old friend again, for me (+James Bester) it was 20 years since I had last visited the Kgalagadi.
On hindsight, December maybe was not the time to visit - 43 degrees Celsius was not fun :)
The wildlife was good but for me it was the birdlife that came shining through. So without further ado a few pictures of a few feathered critters.
We will add more photos over the next few weeks :)

Kalk Bay | Cape Town
One of our favorite spots in the whole of Cape Town. Relaxed atmosphere, stunning views and seriously good food.
Do your self a favor, when in Cape Town stop over in old Kalk Bay and enjoy a hour or two just chilling.
PS the road works are almost finished :)

A little Black Coffee in the morning, nothing quiet like it
Black Coffee is a South African multi-award winning record producer and DJ.
In our humble little opinions, Black Coffee is brilliant :))))
