. I cannot reply under your comment as the reply button is not there. I do understand new programmes can be frustrating, that is why we have created a series for Inkscape which is a free vector programme and Gimp which is a raster programme.
It is possible that you are importing a jpg or a png image into Inkscape. In order to change some of the colours or stretch the text you would have to convert the images into vector using trace. If the images are jpg or png, I suggest you use Gimp.
